edifier m3300!! but it has subwoofer... not very huge though, it's more on the tall side. only 200 plus.

Added on January 5, 2009, 4:14 pmor u can topup rm100, and buy edifier s2.1m, excellent reviews from users and experts. 9.5/10. but if u really dont want a subwoofer, buy a KLIPSCH Promedia Ultra only rm289 at cycom. i never have one, but it's surely better than vs4121 considering the price for a 2.0 setup.

what if the floor's messy? with books and bags and boxes and everything, cos i live in a cramped apartment. will it sound worse or better than table?

the mp210 has dual power mode, normal or usb powered, great if u're always on the move. by the way, yes, that's the klipsch im talking about. the r1900 looks great too. but im not sure about the price. mp210 about rm 200. the mp300 about rm260, but has small tube like subwoofer. http://www.inter-asia.com.my/prd~images/e7...a7db19d1d9d.jpg

Added on January 6, 2009, 11:32 amif u want woofer without sacrificing space, the mp300 looks great, but i've never had one before so cannot comment on sound quality. but should be good. i think ur final choice should be between r1900 and klipsch.

hmm... i guess i'll buy the r1900t3... i cant use the woofer much cos neighbours all around.. if not i already buy s330.. but hopefully the r1900t3 performs excellent!

hey hinika, im buying the r1900t3 and i'll give u the review later, although im not an audiophile. sri computers at lowyat has it. rm349 if im not mistaken, guess it's the old price, which means the old product kot... hopefully not too old..

mp300 looks cool, but r1900t3 sounds better. so if u're concentrating on space and design, the mp300 series should be perfect, but if u're an audiophile, and u dont mind a 13kg pair of speakers on ur desk, then go for the r1900t3. cant wait to test it out tonite!!

already have the r1900t3!! sounds great even though fresh from the box! build quality also good! but a bit heavy and quite huge. and volume control at the back of speakers. but those are the only drawbacks.

edifier s330 a.k.a. s2.1m? looks pretty too!

or maybe r1900t3 like mine, since loud bass is not ur priority. the bass from the 2.0 r1900t3 is nice enough actually, quite bassy if u're not a hiphop or bassy disco songs fan.

many reviews say they are good but mainly the high-end systems. the cheap ones arent. i only have creative earphone and mp3, and they sound brilliant enough. dunno much about speakers though, almost bought a creative inspire m4500 the other day.

i dont know the difference in terms of quality, but gmx looks cooler! love the chrome grills in front of the satellites! depending on what type of music u usually hear, the gmx is suitable if u want to shake ur house with the amazing bass. if u're gonna use the speaker for parties, or disco music, bassy stuff, go for the gmx. but if u're not, go for edifier s330 a.k.a. s2.1m. the bass doesnt distort the music like the gmx does. by the way, it's just my opinion, u should try out both speakers first before buying any.

lots of shop at lowyat have the speaker, u can even go to inter-asia (edifier's distributor). it's also at lowyat. but im not sure which floor, but it's the higher floors, 3 or 4 something. the s330 looks pretty too, simple, black, glossy, pretty much a lasting design. some people complain the gmx's exposed satellites could be dangerous since it's easy to damage the cones. but i guess u'll just have to be careful. pick ur choice! if i have rm1.5k, i'd go for an expensive 2.1 or 2.0 system, i prefer quality instead of quantity

rm379 at sri comp at lowyat. cant give u an opinion as i've never heard one myself. but i dont think u need a 5.1 for music. 2.0 or 2.1 setup will do. i mean, even if u go to a live concert, the singers are only in front of u right? they're not all around u. 5.1 maybe better for game and movies since u can feel the effect all around u. watch Cloverfield in 5.1 in full volume and u'll get what i mean! u feel like like the monster is just beside u! instead of buying an expensive 5.1, buy an expensive 2.0 or 2.1 and u'll probably get better sound quality for music. it's only my opinion anyway, so try asking the others for opinion too!

oohhh... very tempting... now i cant decide if my future wife is the aego m or t3... t3 a bit cheaper some more... 598 at garage sales, brand new... need to save up some cash!

i know it's cheap but i still cant afford a rm600 speaker... huhu... i got an idea, why dont u guys donate some cash to my account? rm10 each, 60 person will be rm600. muahahahaha!

Added on January 30, 2009, 3:36 pmif harga tak kesah, call up mr phil jones or mr mark levinson himself and ask him to make a speaker for u! that'll be the best 2.1 or 5.1 ever! even better, u can ask them to colaborate and work together. hehe. get an eidifier s2000 if have the cash, or a sonus faber, bose, ae, those expensive brands. if u have so much cash, mind giving me some for my gigaworks t3? hehe

s530d's subwoofer looks bigger, but the t3 has 3 driver for the subwoofer, one forward, one left, one right. so im not sure.. but for bass, i think u should go for the s530d... if u're an oldies, jazz, or classic type, go for t3!

how come u bought it for rm1.3k? i thought people are selling at half that price..

ohh.. no wonder.. i thought the 3.1 was either a typo or u got urself a centre speaker.. hmm, the cables are really expensive huh at 1m... must be nice!
