the good thing about x-fi cards are they have intel hd audio pinout. u can easily connect the jacks of your intel hd mobo to the card.

can also be bought separately. i dont know, your casing, does it comes with front panel audio board? usually it comes together with the usb port in front.

M2300 and M3300 are not suitable for gaming.
it has abit "high" bass, very unsuitable for bassy movies and game.

for rock and metal, depends, u want the bass or the clarity.
if u want clarity, go and buy it. otherwise, please listen before buy.

sound, is very subjective. assume it as food, some will like some dont. trying is a must.

basshead - edifier hcs2330, treble freak - creative t20.

T20 is good in clarity, those who listen will know T20 and T40 are good in high

while edifier hcs2330, not so good for basshead, but since u compare only these 2, thats all i can say.

lol i sold my gmx few mths already, upgraded to klispch i-fi.
the 8"sub really kick ass. didnt overpower, not boomy. but provide damn low bass when movie (>27hz). excellent piece of work.
gmx sub is not as enjoyable as this. but satellites are very warm, need more clarity to brightened up.

450 get the edifier r501.

get a klipsch system if u want bass. i mean the upper class from promedia one.

yes, but it is well known for the absolute bass lover. it also has nice clarity, which is why it is popular in its homeland.

depending in your budget, u can choose promedia, which is for computer. although very rare these days.
or, get the synergy series (i saw in garage sales) their entry home theater series.

just put the subwoofer anywhere, as long as it makes the place u sit become sweetspot

<300 is not a good price range. only M3300SF or logitech Z4 which is most preferred.

and if u like the good bass of AL45.1, dont think these 2 can give u the same experience. Z4 oni use 4" subwoofer.
if u dont, just pick the M3300sf.

because to have logo THX and RAZER is not cheap...

depends on your liking. u just listen to them. otherwise u cannot say which one better.

subwoofer weight, country of origin, shopkeeper help u carry box to car, etc.

no offense, but these things can be found on google and the speaker manufacturer website itself. im not sure if this is your first speaker set.

but trust me, u gotta come and hear it in action before buying.
we as forumer can only advice and describe. nothing more.

that's not surprising. some speakers i bought i also never audit before.
just read reviews from google, and u can have "idea" how it may sound.

if u really cannot find and need to buy, just choose the one u think u might want. u want boom for movies, logitech. u want clear vocal in music, edifier.

there are alot of reviews on both speaker in the internet. if u understand the terms : tight bass, muddy bass, loose bass, warm sound, bright sound, room filling etc, it will be easier to "describe" the characteristic of the speaker. still, listening them before buying is the best.

haha, the pictures are important. from what i see, edifier "material" is always good one.
all edifier i've ever own, they have better material than competing speaker at same price.

hmm not sure, last time from the early Edifier X300 to now Klipsch i-Fi.
should be about like 10 times. including the speakers comes with new computer.
i listen more speakers, cause i often go listen some speakers, and many of my friends own different types.

now i guess need to save money, no more changing in plan.

yes. bigger transformer. but even my 2.1 ifi got twice bigger than that.

got listen to bose companion 3 and companion 5. like the bass. but compared to my ifi, i prefer ifi.

no. not hifi. just ipod speaker. name is klipsch ifi.
u can google that. but i dun use for ipod, use for laptop.

bought on ebay, about RM700. discontinued already.

this is the question that i cannot answer. my friend came into my house listen to my klispch, wanna buy new one.
here in sg cant find the new klispch gmx (i once owned) and klipsch ifi.

and i receive some questions about the klipsch gmx in msia too. honestly cant asnwer, some people looking but cant find.
lucky i bought from ebay that day... cause no more and new one cost expensive.
