OMG, how's that even possible? Lenovo packaging is quite good, double boxed, protection foam and all. Do you think the crack is from the factory or courier handling?

mSata or normal Sata drive

mSata give better performance but is difficult to find in malaysia now.

Buy from taobao easier and cheaper.

Is it worth waiting for the next gen Ryzen 5000 series?

I'm looking for a professional laptop for work needs. Mostly excel but I do work in large excel files and work with 3 monitor simultaneously.

If not I'll just settle with the current gen T14 Ryzen. Budget 5.5k

configure with lots of RAM, at least 16GB
current ryzen 7 pro will do the job for your requirement.

Similar dilemma but for x1 carbon9
FHD or 4kHD - 100% srgb vs 100% DPI 3
ultimately its just battery life importance to you, expect 30% drop in hours for higher res. screens

Most Lenovo laptops with usb-c ports.... pass-through DP 1.4 signal as well, get a usb-c to DP adapter... and add a DP with MST hub (pic below) and you can display up to three 4k@60Hz displays from a single port...

Any laptops with dGPU will off-load work-load/RAM from Ryzen's APU....

Try aliexpress... though their shipping (usually) takes very long....

3 weeks from my last purchase on nov2020. i would call that fast enough.
not sure about current time. should make no difference as the situation now is a lot better than last time.
