Alternatively, if you've been watching/observing Sirius TV's FTA test broadcasts by aiming SES 12 satellite on your own (like me), do share some reviews here also eh...

My goodness... Just by looking at the photos with lots of boxes stacks up, I thought Sirius TV is freely distributing its set-top-box to whoever wants it, and then customer can self-install them at their homes. 🤣🤣🤣

We got friendly call from MCMC not to install our Trial set unless we apply and pay the Apparatus Assignment Fees for each set we installed. Our application for exemption through the Class Assignment has yet to receive any result. We are in a Catch-22 situation... authority tell us to toe the line and they are just following the CMA Act 1998 procedures....and the customer is cursing why we are slow in our marketing and installation....

Hah, until now that Apparatus Assignment matter haven't settle yet?

I think it's time to just straight away tell the media press about this, like Malaysiakini or something. Let the mass public and media put pressure on MCMC, and also on the related laws.

Have money will travel......only the big and loaded make it while the smaller ones die before hatching.The current giant provider holding single handed for over 20yrs, contributed maximum and got things done!

Josh and LowYat Forumers....if given the chance to work together with MyTV and the Media Prima Group , how do you think Sirius TV with its Satellite Pay TV Station should work on. ?

Errr... How does that Apparatus Assignment fees issue got to do with MYTV and Media Prima Group?

And why suddenly bring up MYTV and Media Prima? What do you have in mind?

My question on Media Prima and MyTV ARE NOT related to the Apparatus Assignment issue. BTW we heard the good news that MCMC has approved our application for the Class Assignment yesterday and waiting to gazette the Approval after the Hari Raya... 😀

If you guys have any great ideas outside the box ...do let me know....just trying to pick your brain...

Good thing to see providers are actively picking up the public's opinions...

Here's some of my suggestions:

1. Add channel numbers and some descriptions to channel list on website

2. Give more information/specs for the equipment and the hardware etc. on website

3. Also there's a section called Sirius Music on your website. What is it and could we see an in house radio channel featuring music under the banner?

Here's my 2sen. Hope to see the future of Sirius getting brighter with the in house content...

when you launch pls launch with something for everyone.The first cut is the deepest!! There must be malay,chinese and Indian/Tamil content.If u start without all these main vernacular languages your first impression wl fail miserably and it wl be hard to recover! Bring internet radios then the usual local stations. Local TV/Radio is everywhere , everyone carries it !! Bring something different for malaysians ,informative ,entertaining and adventurous for both young and old

I'm more interested of what Sirius would take from Disney now that they would leave linear channel market soon (for most).

Agree with Smile guy and Qash-M for radio, TV for everyone. Bringing in Internet radio for Sirius TV platform is a good idea.

I wonder when the trial broadcast would end and official launch along with encryption with ACAS (presumably because its from ABV) would start?

By end of June we should have around 30 channels. We are suppose to officially launch the service by mid May. With the MCO 3.0 we think mid June would be a suitable date. Will start the ABV encryption in July...God willing.
