Mine went to shah alam and then back to sepang for import license. Now I suspect it will go back to shah alam again haha.

Btw I think we ordered same time but you got the x395, I got the t495. We just got different estimated arrival dates. Mine was closer and yours was longer. But now in reality, seems like both will come at the same time.

Finally cleared customs, I think it will arrive today. So the original estimated time when you first purchase the laptop was accurate. I think my original estimated time was August 20 and today is August 20. Will update if actually receive it today.

Hopefully
I'm free today, if tomorrow habisla
Will be out for the entire day.

Also some Reddit user has tried putting a nvme SSD into the wwan slot.
It didn't work.
I'm thinking maybe it only supports sata.

WWAN slot no longer support any 2242 SSD, because of the slot connector are totally different.
*
When I configured my laptop, they did mention you must upgrade now or else that slot is not upgradable in the future. So I think if you didn’t take the wwan option, that slot don’t have any purpose.

I tried adding in the wwan but it came out as some error.
Then I ignored it and continued to check out but I can't pay no matter what I do.
I have to remove it only can pay.

Lenovo site really buggy. Sometimes it don’t even load the page for me. Should have just tried a different time. For me sometimes not able to load, but most times okay.

Sometimes I even get different country lenovo site like Brazil version.

This I not too sure. All I know is if you take WWAN, can put SIM card, what size SIM card maybe other members here can comment. Benefon

This is spec sheet for t495 Benefon shared earlier with me, maybe you can find similar one for your model if you're choosing say x395.

So as expected, i received my parcel today (even though my estimation arrival date is 21 August). i will post pictures later. but a few initial issues i faced today with the laptop was this:

- keyboard layout (solved via changing region)
- wrong time and date (solved via windows services)
- auto brightness (solved via installing amd radeon software and turning off vari-bright)
- track-pad takes time to get use to as the left and right click is above the track-pad instead of below

Other than that, the laptop was better than expected and i am very happy with it. battery life will need more time to evaluate, but seems to run down very fast, currently using a 250 nits display and i'm getting about 6 hours estimated time from the built in estimation software of the laptop (lenovo vantage).

Speaker no joke, and i have bose soundlink 2 and sony wh-1000xm3. can listen to audio on the laptop itself without any third party headphones or speakers.

so far great impressions. to be honest i think this is already light and small, not sure what those with T490/5s or x390/5 will think about their lighter laptop.

Ya just concerns about the weight.
1.57kg this is medium range laptop.
Ya to be honest for X390/5 and X1 Carbon like nothing weight.

I would have gone with x series but i really appreciate screen real estate.

haha i'm way more happy, even showed my friend about these lenovo laptops and now he also considering to buy.

so far no overheating issue, laptop hasn't even run any fan noise (basic usage like chrome and youtube).

Only concern is battery life but too early to tell, i would say average between 4 to 6 hours max.

Yes keyboard is great. Just no backlit. Last time if not mistaken on my T430, T450, backlit was "FN + space bar", but here no torchlight image on the space bar. So no backlight keyboard as you mentioned for Malaysia version.

Interesting to know what’s the SSD they packed with.
In another forum they received with WD Wastern Digital SSD.

Yeap western digital, hope you don't mind i didn't open the laptop but just go under "device manager", will thinker around the laptop when have more time.

so far overall really happy and will definitely recommend.

only cons is probably the battery, for example, if maybe estimate gives you 5 hours, but reality is more to 2.5 hours. however, the 65W charger really charges the laptop up quite fast, if not mistaken 1-2 hours can fully charge the whole laptop (it feels closer to one hour).

if battery is not an issue, by all means go for amd. (i emphasize this part cause i think my laptop isn't that power hungry as its only a 250 nits display).
