You really cannot go wrong with either one. Ryzen gets better benchmarks on everything except single CPU performance.
But one thing people don't talk about of Ryzen because they are too busy talking about performance, is "price".
For the price you pay for a Ryzen laptop (For same equivalent CPU offered by Intel and AMD), it can be anywhere between RM500 and RM1000 difference.
I link the original post because at that time the X390 was RM2000 more expensive than the Ryzen variant X395. Now the price difference has narrowed since Ryzen is getting traction though.
