dats wat i am asking b4...after "u-noe-we-r-not-suppose-to-say" events, is there any news regarding 2nd season anime? 1st season only got 26 epsd...now epsd 16 edy..i dont think it would b enough to keep all the manga....but would be more logical that epsd 26 would b abt the ending of "u-noe-we-r-not-suppose-to-say" events.....

hopefully there's 2nd season and no filler please! i hate fillers...

I don't think there will be 2nd season anytime soon. I suspected Madhouse will make a new story arc to wrap up the anime as they did with Gunslinger Girl.

Let's hope it did not end up like Berserk.

The manga is not even finished yet but I do have faith with Madhouse. In Gunslinger Girl, they did quite a good non manga arc to wrap up the anime since the manga is not finished yet when they did the anime.

So I do have faith in Madhouse can make a decent story arc that is not in the manga to finish Claymore anime.

But Curemo have a much bigger plot + gun slinger girl has a shorter episode. In GSL the gals all suppose to die in the end so you expect claire to be killed or the organisation killed all the claymores or something? I think it will be a sad ending then.

Uhh...am i missing something because the Gunslinger Girl anime followed the manga and didn't have a new story arc. Just that that dead fratello arc was shuffled to be a later arc. Besides GSG 2 is confirmed.

Anime introducing their own arcs tend to make me barf. I call it the rurouni kenshin syndrom.

Yes you are. Ep 10-11 is stand alone anime only story arc, I have the orignal DVD and Japanese manga so no argument here. Gunslinger Girl is one of my crown jewel of anime titles so I do know what is going on.

GSG 2 is rumored but the company quickly took down the obvious premature leak. I don't think it is confirmed yet.


And you are wrong too. Gunslinger Girl manga plot has grown bigger since the conclusion of the anime back in 2004. Now the story focused on new generation of the bionic operator, Russian ex ballerina Petrushka. And Section 2 also about the lose 2nd bionic operator is a major plot event of the current story.

Not really. Planet Es pulled it off brilliantly. And Gunslinger Girl anime unique arc is quite good too, so I am quite optimistic.

I watched the anime 1s, then read the manga up till vol 3. (ADV release...still waiting on vol 4. supposedly released this month!)

Anyway i'll take your word for it since my mangas are back in Malaysia.
