Lets see. Making lil girls into demons, mostly against their will (as gleaned from Clare's statement that she's the first and only person to become a Claymore willingly). Hiding the truth about male awakened beings (i.e. saying in the earlier episodes that only girls could be claymore when it is in fact due to males willingly becoming awakened that prohabits using them).
Yup, nothing fishy about the organization.

QUOTE(Gxen @ Jul 20 2007, 05:20 PM) Dont get me wrong, I dont like the seiyu for Raki, not Raki himself. Other than its seiyu, all good for him imo. Yeah, raki's seiyuu sounds really really bad. Like a hysterical little girl. Everytime he says something like 'clare wa mamoru' I cringe at his emoness.

Anime introducing their own arcs tend to make me barf. I call it the rurouni kenshin syndrom.

They have animated around 3 to 4 years worth of claymore in 16 episodes. If there's a 2nd season based on the manga itself its going to be a long long wait. Still, I'd rather see this then having the animation studio make up their own ending. Despite the examples given of successful original plotlines (I never knew Planetes deviated from the manga, never even realized that the manga came first! Thanks for making me want to go read it now), I feel that the ending envisioned by the person who started the story would be more 'canon'.
