Well technically the anime doesn't use the term "Abyssal Ones". They used another term (which I wont reveal here cause IT'S A SPOILAR ZOMG!) which I feel is not so...omph.

claymore is a bit better than bleach no so much of kiddies stuff in it and more violent 2 i like it
