I do think it deserved best actor

Ya and also best director.

But this probably difficult as this is foreign film.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil - A great 2nd episode to great end it. This movie is freaking beautiful. 4 Star.

MA Absolutely stunning acting by Octavia Spencer, but the storyline could even better. 3 Star.
5 Star for Octavia Spencer acting.

Some shocking scenes from Luke Evans, but I doubt is him and probably fake. Haha!

Little Monsters - Never though this movie will be that great! Awesome Zombies film. 4 Star.

Origin and entertains. Kind of family film except they is a scenes of half breast appear and a lot of bad word.

A Million Little Pieces - It could be better, kind of boring actually. It is like you just watch it and you immediate forgot about the storyline. 3 Star.

Definitely not for everyone and not for watching together with family.

Agreed. I actually spent two days to watch it, but everyday I was impacted by the film in every aspect. But after this film, I managed to sit down and spent another two nights watching Joker.

Which I think could be a mistake.

Both are grey in subject matter, dealt with human behaviour when placed in extreme situation (or its effect thereof) and both did not give us a sense of closure. Nonetheless in terms of cinema, both films are tour de force.

Ps: Trivial I read: (not exactly a spoiler) the stuff W.Dafoe was thrown at was chocolate power.

TOGO is a warm charming film.

based on a true story in 1925 Alaska.

unless u hate k9's, u will enjoy it. 3.5/5.

This is a very touching and tears emotional film. All acting very well from Dog to Actor/Actress.

Ya, it's a really great movie. The way it's story being told is also a refreshing from other movie. Unfortunately most reviewers give it low score might be the reason many give this movie a pass.

Actually audiences scores still ok but those critical reviewer spoilt it.

Ya, I mean the critical reviewer. Many people just follow the critical reviewer ratings whether to watch the movie. The movie box office is lower than the production cost.

Actually I long didn't follow critical review as sometimes their review cannot use one. Haha!

Ya Box office not good.

terminator: dark fate is the 6th instalment of the Terminator franchise.

expectations were high, esp when they bring back linda hamilton and schwarzenegger, story written by james cameron.

while many say it is like a direct sequel to T1 and T2, i find it more like a T2 reimagined.

no spoilers, but u will know what i mean after u watched it... and dun miss the first 5 min... which is the key to the story.

plenty of action, lots of destruction, pretty good CGI.... although i find it can be done better.

this film cost $200 million, a box office bomb, lost money. 3/5.

my view - they should stop making anymore T movies with the same storyline and move on to a completely diff one.

For me this is more on sequel of T2 and T5 and joining up everything.

Beside The Terminator, others start from T2 to latest all bomb in box office in US but gain gross in worldwide.

i watched it a second time in 4khdr ddtruehd.

and the extras... deleted scenes, the making...

now i can understand how they spent rm200mil to make this movie!


actually, they tried very hard... the first scene where they "resurrected" sarah connor, john connor and schwarzenegger with young faces, that cost $$$$$.

the c5 plane scenes were made using a real massive steel structure on rollers and arms to simulate the movement of a falling plane.

scenes of what we thought was mexico city were in fact, madrid, spain... for some reason, they filmed in spain, made it look like mexico!

in the extras, it was mentioned the creation of an "augmented super soldier" opens up new possibilities for the T franchise.

we may yet see more T movies coming... could be something closer to the characters major kusanagi of ghost in the shell and Alita.
