tried on direct network on Samsung TV, not bad actually, except some HDR one bit stuck (running on wifi)
the rest 2160 are find, but only legacy audio

Audio support is an issue in Plex.

• LG TV - The interface slow like hell and it is old interface, I doubt they can run new interface. haha. Forget it.
• CCwGTV- The Plex will crash if you browse in the movies too often. (The New Interface). But at least the new Beta is awesome now and can playback all type of movies include REMUX smoothly via WiFi 5Ghz. No more buffering issue. Off course need to let Plex transcode Dolby TrueHD as CCwGTV not support Dolby TrueHD. I hope miracle will appear in future update like Nvidia Shield Pro, suddenly can playback Dolby TrueHD.
• AppleTV 4K - Very smooth and less crash, once in a while will crash. But latest version got sound issue where DD+ track is soundless. This is known issue and fixed in beta but beta is full and I cannot join. Apple TV 4K any apps always playback as LPCM except Dolby Atmos in DD+ track.

So basically I still using Infuse Pro in Apple TV 4K for local content.

Rubbish movie. Supposedly the ultimate ninja but is actually a caged MMA fighter. Also, watch out for an Infinity Stone!

Also, do skip this. More of a wtf movie than anything else. Watched for 15 mins then just fast forward and skipped most parts straight to the ending. Maybe that's why I don't know what's the ending about.

If you're curious, just wiki the movie and save urself 2 hours.

the recent movies i watched:


The Suicide Squad - 3/5, better than the first one.

Beckett - 2.5/5, stereotype thriller, low budget but watchable.

Avengement - 2.5/5, action-violence genre, the scott adkins genre.

Green Knight - 1/5, waste of time.

Snake Eyes - 2/5, only thing worthy was u get to watch some action by Andrew Koji (Warrior tv series) and a bit of Iko Uwais.

Stillwater - 3/5, intense drama, good performance by Matt Damon.

Rogue Hostage - 1/5, waste of time.


tv series... better ones are narco wars (documentary); godfather of harlem S02; the chemical world (documentary).

Reminiscence 2021... perhaps i expected too much...

it's a scifi-crime-love movie.

jonathan nolan & wife been very creative to put some brilliant ideas together to make this movie.

critics have thumbed it down, compared it to Strange Days (1995, a James Cameron story), Total Recall, Inception and Westworld (TV series).

i agree it was a let down as the story had great potential, and first class actors/actresses.

perhaps $68 mil was too small a budget... 3/5.




one thing the critics forgot to mention - that water tank idea first emerged in the the pilot of FRINGE 2008 tv series.. remember FBI agent Olivia Dunham?!





Risen 2021 is a slow, unexciting alien invasion movie - with a different ending from all the rest - the aliens win! 2/5.

recently most movies are really a let down...

started watching resident alien, some good laughs

so many alien movies lately.. no good material to produce d..

hardly any good movie lately... even black widow and F9 were poor.

so much so that i now dig out my old movies to rewatch.

only thing to look forward to now is Dune 2021 and Matrix 4.


meanwhile, for those who remember these 2 good korean movies, they are being adapted into TV shows by hollywood - will be interesting.

agree with you there Sir.. i am still waiting Top Gun after you reminded me earlier even james bond also still pending..

maverick... now coming in november... this sequel after so long, i m not counting on it being great, esp with "oldies" ed harris, val kilmer.

even cruise himself looks worn out... and jennifer connelly has aged a lot too...


bond... i start to lose interest in recent bond films... always mediocre... some action but story is usually stale, out of date.

the world of spies, counter espionage, terror, dominance has moved on... to the worlds of jack ryan, john clark, jason bourne.

keke still those are blockbuster that can fill the time if the lock down is going to prolong..

sure, in times like this.. anything is better than nothing!

Too bored until I watch old 1994 movie, Timecop, ok lo can kill time, haha.

rewatched Terminator series.. 3 down, 3 to go.

next, probably Hobbit+LOTR or Alien series.


about LOTR, an interesting development... coming in 2022... can't wait to see if they will incorporate the unfinished Tolkien works in Silmarillion.
