Instalment payment via PBB CC in Shopee - any additional or hidden one off charges? Anyone done this before?

Sifu2 sekalian, I'm first timer in applying PBB credit card and plan to apply Quantum Visa. May I know applying through online or counter will be better in term of response time, approval period and approval chance?

Just wondering, is it possible to apply 2 quantum mastercard? Most of my spending are through online and i would hit the rm600 pretty easily. My sweetspot is around rm1k to rm1200k.

Judging from the posts here, it seems that many users manage to obtain SST rebate, for new and existing Public Bank credit cards. I understand that the experience of getting SST rebate may vary for different individuals.
This is my dilemma. I have an existing Quantum MasterCard. Recently, I applied for another Public Bank credit card.
SST is charged on the date of the activation of my credit card. So, the date of charging SST is no longer on the next statement date after the date of the activation.
I tried calling Public Bank Customer Service to request for SST rebate, for my new Public Bank credit card. The Public Bank Customer Service Executive said that Public Bank gives SST rebate for only existing credit cards. Cardholders with new credit cards need to pay SST for the first year, before being allowed to request for SST rebate during the second year.
Is what Public Bank Customer Service Executive said true? I have my doubt. I believe that many of you all applied for new Quantum Visa Credit Card, and managed to get SST rebate for the new credit card.

Spent 20k++ in a transaction on Quantum card.
I guess is eligible for 12 months 0% interest installment (valid till 30 Nov).

Got the money to pay up but maybe can better use the cash in something else.
But what concern me is whether this outstanding installment will effect my credit profile / CCRIS scoring?
As I plan to apply for bank loan in the next few months.

Should I take it or not?

may I know how the 12 months 0% interest installment show in ccris record? is it share the same line with credit card with month end balance or a brand new line with monthly installment like car installment?

er.. my eCCRIS (i check monthly) shows total outstanding balance for all my credit cards wor - including my 12 months 0% $0 fees total outstanding, not just the statement owed amount.

No. CCRIS will show total outstanding. So for your example, it will show as 12000 outstanding.

i called PBB to waive SST  2 weeks ago ,
they will call back ,
but till now , no news ,  no waive at all ....

Isit your OCBC installment is same like PBB flexipay, swipe total amount in one shot then call bank to convert, instead of doing EPP by merchant? Might be different due to this..

I also can confirmed ccris show total outstanding amount for PBB flexipay.

specifically for PB Quantum - my eCCRIS show the total outstanding
also for other local banks' 0% $0 fees flexi payment and balance transfers

EPP - no idea coz too small to notice in comparison to FP & BT heheh, thus can't "see". yes yes, i'm a "statistic" of the amount owed on credit cards 

Any sifu have idea what does the snowflake logo means? First time seeing this logo… and just happened these few days not using the cards, so not sure whether it's related to freeze my card or what...

Yes. It used to crash on my phone (others reported the same too), I just tried using this week and it is OK now, no longer crashes.

I think sooner or later, it will ask to download new app like what is happening to HSBC.

I always call the number, straight away press '1' for English, then press '8' to speak to customer service without listening to all options. 😜

So sometimes my call can be done in less than 5 minutes. My last call to convert flexipay was done in 3 minutes plus.

yep, always doing the same combination  dont bother go through the IVR pages. just hit '8' for the customer service.

yesterday i waved-then-pin for amount RM1,200 on two Quantum Visa card. no issues.

since not yet posted today, called CS to convert to 0% Flexipay (subject to approval due to not yet posted). it will be converted tomorrow @ 0% instead (since i requested it today).

purposely asked the CS to put a note for reference later, in case system charged 1%.
