yeah encountered it last 2 weeks for online txn

effectively deter/reduce card sharing too (thus increase of security in card usage)

PB doesnt know and wont assume you enabled developer mode for good intention. for majority general users, developer mode is not required, hence detecting it will be a form of security checking.

if possible, separate personal phone vs work phone lor. if you're a developer (for your company) better raise a PR to get a dedicated development phone. if freelance, too bad, gotta balance it between cost vs convenience vs security.
