some noob questions here, for mastercard quantum contactless payment, do i need to inform the customer service? or it will be automatic once you receive your card?

i thought it was auto and i changed my card once coz couldnt do the contactless payment. As the customer service said the card may be faulty

now got the 2nd card and tried again but can't also....

just wanted to do the redemption but I noticed the points on the catalogue already increased! tried to call in cust care but were sent to voice message so Im not sure how can we do the redemption before the so called 18th deadline :0

Can i combine both Quantum Master and Visa points to redeem or only each card points?

No I haven't try it. If keying in the pin will reset the limit then I'm all good, just need 1 wave and pin transaction to avoid hitting the limit. By the way is this paywave limit a monthly one or cumulative regardless of time?

So I just received my PBB Quantum Mastercard and Visa.

What do most people do first ? Call to waive/rebate SST ?

Or just activate Mastercard and call to cancel the Visa ?

Actually when I spoke to the customer service guy at the bank, he said will auto get rebate SST upon receiving cards, so I dont need to do anything, but just want to double check.

Thanks all, just to confirm my usages again:

Public bank quantum Mastercard = Mainly online purchases (Lazada, Amazon) , BigPay topup and use that to pay Unifi / Electricity bills ?

Public bank quantum Visa card = Contactless(Paywave) ; Groceries (AEON/Tesco) with paywave, and Petrol ?

MAS/Airasia tickets will not be eligible for either right ? Just topup bigpay mastercard and pay flights ?

Will the above work ?

Why not ? Page 1 says Exclusion for petrol only for Mastercard , but nothing on Visa. Or am I reading wrongly ?

Can we redeem for the 10000 VIP points = RM25 SST for cash back, even though there is no SST charged?

What is this 10000 for RM25?
