dont swipe lumpsum amount, if you are unsure

try 1 deno, eg RM10 or RM20.
pay using VS.
remember the terminal used.
call CS on the spot to find out the MCC.
if grocery mcc, proceed to buy more.

p/s: if want to be safe and reap more rewards, can try PiB Mastercard. covers both Grocery & Departmental. suitable for Aeon vouchers.

but be mindful that this is not permanent "loophole", either PBB is purpsosely delaying actual exclusion of ewallets or unplanned delay.

Announcement already out, so they/their system would enforce it sooner or later.
