QUOTE(celciuz @ May 2 2024, 05:16 PM) Dang, getting rejected on the SST rebate request first time via email. What's the strategy again? Email again or try calling the service center? I requested for SST rebate... ish... never knew you can send email for this... I've always called but nowadays call also depends on your luck with the CS agent. So far I've never failed to get it

Havent visited this forum for quite some time and was surprised at the revised PIB Visa Plat cashback and benefits revision as well.... didnt even received any email or sms from PBB
Its Quantum cards days all over again. Once settled my outstanding installment gonna say good bye to both cards (Quantum Visa and PIB Visa Plat). Ironically the card that I held the longest is my first ever CC which is Maybank AMEX Gold... despite fewer AMEX acceptance nowadays it still gives the best cashback without additional terms (only weekend spending). I still consistently use it for groceries and petrol every weekend

QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Jul 21 2024, 10:23 PM) Only weekend spend is eligible for 5% cb is already a term But I got to agree that this term is not too hard to meet if you plan your spending accordingly comparing to terms set by other cb cards Downside is, no SST rebate (ok I did not say waived ya ) unless by offsetting your TP and TP is excluded from weekends spendings Well it is a matter of time this 5% will cease, and it was indeed once ceased but eventually revived Using the card since 2017, i never paid for the SST, always waive with TP haha. Because I didnt really accumulate enough TP for any meaningful redemptions so far, might as well redeem SST. I'm thankful they let me cancel the other card so I only have the AMEX card now. If they cease the 5% then I will fully to move point accumulation cards already... good cashback cards are getting rarer nowadays or tied with more and more requirements/terms This post has been edited by ZeneticX: Jul 21 2024, 11:03 PM

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 30 2024, 03:52 PM) Malaysia Spirit Cyber Cashback with PB Visa Credit Card [ PBB | T&Cs ] I've read the TnC but just wanted to clarify. For the RM2k accumulated retail spent, does it refer to total accumulated during each Fri, Sat and Sun, or total accumulated for the whole campaign period eg: the whole of September? QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 30 2024, 03:39 PM) Super Grocery Sale with 25% Cash Back (By Invitation Only) [ PBB | T&Cs ] Fuel Good with 25% Cash Back (By Invitation Only) [ PBB | T&Cs ] Sorry if this is a stupid question.... but lets say if I have 2 PBB Visa Credit card, does the minimum amount spend is calculated from one of the cards only, or it can be combined from both cards? Eg: 1k minimum spent from card A only, or 500 from card A + 500 from card B?

QUOTE(vivace11 @ Jan 21 2025, 03:59 PM) Just asking, did anyone try to ask for SST rebate after that particular cycle and succeeded? Was taxed on Nov, statement date 20 Dec, missed out that entry and paid. Now enter next cycle and the new statement should be out already (yet to receive email) no harms trying.... at most they just reject you. I've tried asking before after it was few months past the sst statement QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 1 2022, 03:40 PM) So i just called CS. Was given a short lecture by the guy on why i didnt called earlier i just came out with some BS that I didnt realised the SST etc. He "checked with management" and after a while told me my request was granted, still reminding me to call earlier next time

QUOTE(Haloperidol @ Mar 27 2025, 07:20 AM) So no more loyalty rebate for SST liao ah .. Guess i gonna cancel my PBI VP soon ... So long from 2x PPL + RM 30/m become RM 15/m and now no more SST cancel only. summore need to pay annual fee without min spent.... the card itself doesn't give much benefits after removing PPL and nerfing the cashback much better cards out there i dont bother with campaigns since need to keep track and TnCs etc

QUOTE(Haloperidol @ Apr 1 2025, 04:02 PM) Well, personally my cut card thresold is when SST rebate is not available. Now is still easy 15/month. That day i call for rebate / bank absorb SST is fast and easy. But if one day they didn't rebate, it's time to card cancellation on the same spot If you still using the card and it suits your use case then its ok For those who no longer using it might as well just cancel. SST rebate is heavily dependant on your spending now. Many failed to get it because the card was under utilised

QUOTE(Yapmy @ Apr 6 2025, 05:33 PM) I got the same card too out of random. The only good thing is no annual fee but the RM25 service tax is still anoyying to me. What are the other better miles card without annual fee? So far i've only been using CB cards for spend. Ambank MAS Enrich Visa Plat - but benefits mostly limited to MAS Alliance Visa Infinite - got annual fee but can be easily waived with min 12k spent annually
