Mostly saying that Honda bike do not have a character unlike other bike manufacturers.

Not that its a bad bike no. It's just a characterless bike.

For the question.. it is boring as per it does what it purposely do good.
And that its.. no other characters..

Example mt07 characteristics was "Fun" and mt09 was really a "monster" haiz hard to explained..its like its do everything good but ntg exceptional and then some FLAW are the characteristics.. ... Its all subjective actually..

Even bmws1000rr labelled as no character and boring...

Before deciding on CB650R, I have test ridden MT09~ while it is a good bike, with torque all over the place even on the highest gear, I am still not motivated enough to proceed on buying it~ last 3 weeks I've test ridden my friend's CB650R, I instantly fallen in love to it~ enough to make me to call BW Setapak and place booking on the next day~ people may say that Yamaha MT has more character, which I don't deny it, but the more refreshed look and the sound of four-inline really get to my heart~ I consider myself as casual rider, so the good quality of Honda and 'tamer' ride is good enough for me~

Yeaah, review are just for guide.. go test ride the bike. Some ppl just preferred other thing more. I test Mt09, Mt07, Street triple, z900 and trident 660(test after i receive my cb)....

All of them have their own good/special just buy what you looking for.

at that time , actually trident is not available for testing, confirmed by other members who booked the bike (another thread)
