Btw do we have owner whatsapp group?

Jared is good but very pricey. Would still recommend him if you are not that tight on budget and want good work done.

Been seeing a lot of posts from Nuts exhaust on Instagram. They also seem to have a fairly good exhaust for the cbr650r

Hey owners,

I'm currently in the market for my first bike, primarily for weekend rides. Since I’ve never ridden a bike before, I’m getting mixed opinions about whether I should go for a lower-cc bike instead of a 650cc. I'm particularly interested in the CB650R with the e-clutch and would love to hear some feedback from current owners. Is it a wise choice?

I would say no...if you do not have any riding experience.

Get a cheap beater and ride to skill up first. You don't want to drop an expensive full fairing bike. The cbr650r isnt exactly a very light bike.

you wouldnt want to be handling a heavy bike right from the start, will likely dampen your confidence and you wont enjoy it. should read the other thread where someone wanted to get a middleweight and has no prior experience in riding a bike.

its not about cc. its about how you manage the bike weight, corner, braking, lane splitting, uphill start-stop, parking/stand.

learn first. get the feel riding on the road. Anything learn in learning course is just 20% of in real life riding.

Yes but you had 10 years riding experience

A new rider with a big, heavy and expensive bike actually hampers the learning process and takes longer to skill up, Compared to someone that started out on a smaller, lighter, "disposable" bike. Simply because the fear of dropping and damaging the bike leads one to avoid more sketchy and confidence testing maneuvers and situations...and we all know practice makes perfect, even if it means you drop the bike a few times.

Í know big gs riders with a few years under their belt that still cant do a tight U turn for fear of dropping it.

I took my cheap beater off road the first week I got my L licence and promptly dropped the bike 20times. Not to toot my own horn but I believe that really helped me skill up much faster then the average n00bie.

Yeah I read that. But I assume you are replying to the person that already said he has no riding experience.

Just got my bike today from Honda BW Damansara.

Then straight to Revoc and change exhaust.

This bike is really easy to ride, I'm coming from XMAX 250 and I have no difficulty at all. Although it weights 2xx KG ... But you will not feel it. The exhaust sound BANYAK STIM tongue.gif

Especially when you upshift with Revoc exhaust, brap brap brap ...
