QUOTE(PeinEVO @ Nov 21 2020, 03:40 PM) they did say melamine etc.. is the difference in thickness only la then right? I don’t know. Maybe can ask KC seller who are selling at normal price they might be able to tell the difference. Normally, average priced KC maker is using malaysian made Meico.

Hmm since so many interested, let me know what sort of questions you would want me to ask. I will generally asking on the pricing , psf for bottom cabinet, quartz top as well as top cabinet, what sort of material they are using etc and what is their timing for completion etc.
If you have any specific questions on material etc let me know and I will try to ask as well (since it is beneficial to all)

Are they using some sort of cheap melamine or something (due to the cheaper price?)? Checkout the finishing.

Melamine will hold for many years as long as not submerged in water and no sticker/tape placed on it. After many years if you want to remove that sticker/tape, it tend to peel off with the sticker.

I doubt you can get 30k including appliances from the overpriced signature kitchen. My kitchen no brand also more than 30k including appliances.

I was thinking of protecting them with some papers from scratches & dirts by electrical contractor (who will be installing lights, fans and AC next week. So I planned to tape the paper using painter’s tape. My question is, is it safe for me to do so?

Carpentry prices vary a lot from what I gather from this thread here. Mine is only a normal terrace, looking for I shaped kitchen cabinet about 12ft, possibly with 7ft quartz top.

You sure you can’t design your KC to be bigger with available space in your kitchen? L-shape maybe?

The store branded painters tape from Ace tend to be more sticky, I use that as roadtax mounting tape.
