You might get a loan in the present scenario at lower rates.

dear obiwan,
if compare for eg Hongleong @ 12%pa with normal credit card @ 18%pa...which one u think is better ? And is RHB @13.45% really higher than CIMB @ 12.5%?

rates alone dont tell the whole story...its how they calculate, bro ie whats the effective interest. cool2.gif
and i would rather charge credit card than take Al-Rajhi...unless got no choice laa whistling.gif

Bank Islam 5.5% flat for some company. U can ask them. Up to RM150k. And i just took RM30k from Al-Rajhi and RM30k from Hong Leong. Both monthly installment is about the same. Like what the guy said, its all about how they calculate it.

I took Al-Rajhi because i plan to pay back in 2 months and their penalty is only 2 months of interest. Eg. pay full in APR and the penalty is installment for June and July (about 1200).

Hong Leong is about the same but they give u rebate. Penalty is around 3k for early settlement. 3k if u pay up before 6 months.

I didnt take Bank Islam because they will take about 2 weeks to process loans above 50k

Any 1 has took loan from fastloankl. They are license money lender under Kementerian Perumahan & kerajaan Tempatan di bawah Akta Pemberi Pinjaman 1951. Is it safe to take loan from them and are they loan shark hidden under the government? Any 1 have experience taking loan from them?

that is easy, you can log in to al-rajhi bank. download the form from there.
after you filled in all the information, you can either email or fax to them.
in fact i was scanning the form, and i email it to them in 2-3 working days, they will inform me whether my loan is approved or not.
after that there will be somebody call u up, and get back the original form from you, and ask u to sign the relevant document lor...
the advantage is, u do not need to go to the branch to do all this, they will have personnel come to meet u up.
