I jsut applied for CIMB cash plus financing-i today....at 8.88 p.a

How much u borrow? Last time the customer service told me is for 3k below. 3k Above is 24% P.A. I was stunned that time, what she told me different from what I saw from their brochure and website. Then I ask the approved loan can bank into other bank's account, she replied me rudely "sure cannot la, must bank into same bank, use common sense". I told her other bank allow bank into other bank's account and I left immediately.  I wonder what kind of common sense she have. Anyway, forgot her name, she's from Pandan Indah branch.

the 24% ps one is called the express cash financing-i http://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=ci...pt=cimb_islamic,  the one I applied is called Cash plus Financing -i http://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=ci...pt=cimb_islamic, almost same requirement only needed higher amount of salary to be qualified.

I borowed 9k for 2 years, total repayment is RM442 per month,

We bring the cash plus financing-i brochure to show her. Yet she still told us her story. Obviously she don't even know her company's product. I got no interest to ask more with her bad attitude.

Just went to a few banks to enquire on the rates for personal loan during office lunch time just now. Hope I remember it all :

RHB : At least 11.74% per annum. You may borrow up to 5 times your gross salary without a guarantor. They have 2 tiers, and from what I understand, the shorter your loan tenure, the lower the interest rates. But the lowest you can go is 11.74%. You may get 3.xx% if your loan amount is more than RM100k.

BSN : 3.5% I think, and if you are a working for a private company, your salary must be at least RM6000 per month

Hong Leong : 1% per month, 12% per annum. If you pay promptly for 7 months, you will get 20% cash back.

MBB : Didn't ask

Public bank : Only for civil servants. Didn't ask about the rate

CIMB : 8.88% per annum

Bank Rakyat : 3.25%. Only for civil servants or if your company is in their list of panel companies.

Bank Islam : Tenure for 1-3 years : 6.0%, 4-8yrs : 6.8%, 9-10 yrs : 7.0%

loan 5k, settle in 1 yr, which bank offers best rate? and what if early settlement?

got personal loan for reno house? Only need 5k and pay within a year or earlier. Current salary almost 6k but got commitment till nov so need to apply loan for the reno.
