Hi Everybody. I'm working for standard chart. I'm a Personal Financial Consultant (PFC).

For p. loan application, the documents needed are as below.

Self employed:
1) IC
2) Biz Reg
3) Form B & LHDN tax payment receipt

Salaried applicant:
1) IC
2) 3 mths payslip
3) latest epf statement (can use kiosk to print out also)

# credit card can be use for either self employed or salaried. if loan amount is <50k than c.card can be use. for >50k income documents stated above is needed.

Do not hesitate to PM me or call me. Office number 04-6503655 (from 9am - 7pm). Although I'm in Penang branch I can do loan for people from other states. Once loan is approved, you can activate and get your money from any standard chart branch in M'sia. Those of you from Penang can give drop by the Penang Standard Chart branch to see me. Look for Mr. Ooi *which is me* lol.

Thanks

its 0.67% per mth or 8.04 per annum. it can go even that...trust me.

The above rates is the lowest . It can go as high as 17% to honest. If you mthly commitment is like more than 80% of your income then you're doomed.

The higher the risk rating the bank categorize you, the higher the interest. Anyway, all approved p. loan you still can cancel in within 1 mth if you are not satisfied with the rates.

Azam,

I guess they are direct sales people. Standard Chart have it's own direct sales/outsourcing arm, Price Solutions. They will always identify themselves as Standard Chart staff which truthfully they are not.

Wu Fei,

Standard Chartered.

Feralee,

No processing fee. Once the loan is approved you have a mth to decide you want to accept the loan or not. If you doesnt want the loan, just head over to the nearest branch to cancel it.

We have two types of personal loan (same interest rate), let me show you ;

1) Personal Financing-i (islamic p. loan)
*Based on reducing balance
*Early settlement fee of 3% or RM200 (whichever is higher) of the o/s amt
*Can do partial settlement to shorten your tenure but no full settlement.
*Can ask for further rate reduction yearly

2) Quick Cash Edge (conventional p. loan)
*Based on flat rate
*No early settlement fee (can settle anytime)
*If you settle early, usually the bank will give you rebate, the rebate is subjective though

sorry for the late reply guys, just came back from work.

can email me at heng-sheng.ooi@sc.com

or call/sms me @ 016-4360898 (HP) or 04-6503655 (office, it appears on stan chart website, pg branch)

I would be glad to call you back.

Quick Cash Edge is works something like car loan. Flat Rate. That's why there is no early settlement fee or penalty. Usually the bank will give rebate, how much ..that one I have no idea.

For Personal Financing-i it is based on reducing balance.

Cheque On Call ..max tenure is 18 months only. If you borrow large sum..then monthly repayment is gonna be a bomb.

holy ghost,

you can include fixed allowances into your income.

[(basic + fixed allowances + side income(regular stream of income)] x 5 = max loan amt

if you have credit card, you can just use ic to apply. my bank will do all the relevant checkings on the credit card so ..no need to provide credit card, just the IC will do the job.

if you guys have any Q, just PM me or sms to me @ 016-4360898

se7evhafiz,

It depends on the T&C of each bank. Usually it is the same but it may differ.

If the personal loan is based on flat rate then it includes the 2nd and 3rd yr interest. There may be some rebate but again it depends on the bank you're applying with. Some banks do charge penalty for early settlement.

darkmage,

usually it takes 2-3 days. For those loans @ quick cash is more like cash advance from your credit card which only takes 24 hrs or so.

I'm from Standard Chart, doing personal loan. If you're interested kindly PM me.

almeizer,

I think benjamin got it wrong. It should be 30 days. 2-3 days can get money, that one I'm not quite agree.

benjamin,

are you from price solutions?
