Budget including those upgrades?

If you want a decent MX150/MX250 model I'm afraid that RM2k is too low. Fine with Ryzen models?

1. Budget : Around 3k++

2. Usage : Prefer a gaming laptop for doing design work and also light gaming (require software like Adobe creative software : AI, PS, XD, DW and also some video editing.

3. Requirements (display size15" is fine, min ram 8gb, storage min 500gb ssd, not so sure about graphic card, not much criteria for battery and weight )

Hope sifu can help suggest ya. saw many cheaper gaming laptop also have thermal issue so hopefully there option me ya.

Tq very much

Lenovo Thinkpad E495 (Ryzen): under RM3k

TBH it's quite difficult to find a decent 13/14 inch laptop with 16GB RAM upgradability (many have soldered RAM) and dGPU / Vega iGPU

hi, looking for a new/used laptop for my dad.

1. Budget : < 2k
2. Usage : Office work
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Larger display better, touch screen is a bonus.
If it's better on smaller screen, I could get an external monitor instead.

What games do you play?
Min battery life in hours?
Max weight in kg?
QUOTE(SKY233 @ Oct 17 2019, 02:11 PM)
decent battery life

Min how many hours of battery life? Fine with lower end GPU? (eg MX150/MX250)

Can get 1050Ti:
Commandos Glock 5, RM2.7k promo
Or Lenovo Legion Y530 81FV016UMJ for RM2.8k

Both options need SSD upgrade (optional 8GB RAM upgrade for dual channel)
