hi, looking for a new/used laptop for my dad.

1. Budget : < 2k
2. Usage : Office work
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Larger display better, touch screen is a bonus.
If it's better on smaller screen, I could get an external monitor instead.

No need anything fancy, for tech illiterate fam.

Strongly considering the LENOVO YOGA C740, but it's really stretching the budget at 3.7k.

Nope, should be fine if it's at 8gb. low sRGB no issues, not watching movies or editing on it.
