Guys... recently I just purchased from Technation.my in Shoppee for latest Lenovo 5 Pro 2022 version with 3070Ti, 1TB, 32GB RAM. It cost me RM7899.
Compared with Lenovo direct website, it is offering RM8088 same spec even after Shoppingspree coupon applied.

I'm glad I did because I got everything similar as website and shipment took just 6 days from the time I place order. Shipment using UPS, although it looks really wierd shipment from singapore, to china, then vietnam, then route back to malaysia.

2 years warranty and also confirmed genuine can be traced from website.

So, for those who have doubt on Technation.my, here is my testimony.

What is the estimated day they give you in shoppe ? 30 days ? Or is it 6 days ?

Purchased mine direct from Lenovo and got this same nonsense as well. I'm based in Johor and the originating parcel was from Singapore which was just across the causeway but the parcel is now in Vietnam

Any damage to the laptop upon receipt?

Anyone has any experience with one-to-one machine replacement under Lenovo Legion warranty? My laptop recently has issue charging and I have informed the service dept regarding this. However, the process of repairing my laptop has come to a halt as Lenovo is waiting the spare part required to fix my laptop to arrive. After a few weeks of no progress, I followed up with them and demanded an ETA for the spare part arrival. Fast forward to today, I received an email from IBM Malaysia that Lenovo has escalated this to a 121 machine replacement. My question is how does the whole 121 machine replacement process go? Do I get to keep my current laptop data before handing over to Lenovo?

Good product but get the NVidia chip mx550 for display. and intel processor

Did you purchase "Keep your Drive" option when you purchased the laptop?
If yes, Lenovo will actually take out the SSD/HDD from the old laptop and give it to you
If not, then you're out of luck because it's not Lenovo's responsibility to transfer your data for you

If however you enabled BitLocker and you didn't keep the recovery keys, then you're still out of luck even if you purchase that option

Do you get to keep using your older laptop while waiting for the replacement to arrive? Or do asked you to send it to them before they order the replacement unit. And how long does it take for the replacement to arrive?

Oops I dont think I have this, can I buy it prior to handing my laptop over and get to keep my data? haha

Also, if I do get to keep my data, do they still install new ssd/hdd at the replacement unit?

yes. it was shipped by tiongnam logistics. they deliver new unit and collect old unit simultaneously. note that u need a box to package ur old laptop though. no need original box, just any box that fits. i dont know the date they purchased the replacement unit. oct 13 i agreed with replacement laptop specs, oct 17 they called for delivery arrangement on oct 20. delivered on oct 21 due to some delivery issue

not too sure on this. initially requested for a refund instead of replacement. they asked for invoice. where did u purchase this laptop? if from lenovo website should still obtainable

If you bought from anywhere else, you'll have to ask the seller/shop directly

Open your eyes sometimes you can get cheaper and better hardware from outside rather then direct order from lenovo.

still worth getting 2021 lenovo legion 5 model? r5 6600h rtx3060? around 5k

Its 2022 model and if you are ok with not having thunderbolt 4 then it's a good deal

But wait for tech day discount, you may get higher discount through vouchers
