Anyone has any experience with one-to-one machine replacement under Lenovo Legion warranty? My laptop recently has issue charging and I have informed the service dept regarding this. However, the process of repairing my laptop has come to a halt as Lenovo is waiting the spare part required to fix my laptop to arrive. After a few weeks of no progress, I followed up with them and demanded an ETA for the spare part arrival. Fast forward to today, I received an email from IBM Malaysia that Lenovo has escalated this to a 121 machine replacement. My question is how does the whole 121 machine replacement process go? Do I get to keep my current laptop data before handing over to Lenovo?

Do you get to keep using your older laptop while waiting for the replacement to arrive? Or do asked you to send it to them before they order the replacement unit. And how long does it take for the replacement to arrive?

Oops I dont think I have this, can I buy it prior to handing my laptop over and get to keep my data? haha

Also, if I do get to keep my data, do they still install new ssd/hdd at the replacement unit?

Also they asked for invoice in order to request for one to one replacement, but I bought this laptop few years back and no longer have the invoice with me, how ya?
