Well bassically SDM855 offer more on processor power, camera image processing, GPU, apps launching speed, etc
and much faster processing power at least 35% more.

It is on 7nm FINFET compare to 10nm FINFET previously on SDM845.

What he means is that Xianfeng should compare OP7 pro with current year flagships instead of last year phone.

You can find all the answers in this video.

Oh and one more thing that most youtubers didn't mention.  The back camera bump on OP7 is much higher than OP7 pro.

Compare with op7 pro, Op7 dont have:
- 90hz
- curved
- pop out cam (notch instead)
- 12gb ram variants
- ultra wide cam
- warp charger

Anything else?

Not siding OP in anyway but my thoughts are they came out with the Pro variant to rival or penetrate Samsung and Apple's top tier market. It's not like they ditched the regular variant and jump straight to this model, they still have and gave us a choice between this and the regular OP7 which pricing to us is still unknown, but I do believe it will be under RM3K. All i'm saying is in the past they only had 1 variant, today 2.
*
Yah. True also. Forgot bout the regular Op7. Just saw the spec. Quite a punch. If the 8/256GB variant below RM3k, then its awesome.

Doesn't even ship to Malaysia though.

That being said, I know that there are some stores on Qoo that ship the phone here but the question is, is it worth doing so?

Like, what will the tax be like, if any.

Any official shipping channel will definitely need to the declare the goods and its price one entered Msia, I'd say tax is unavoidable unless they know how to hide. laugh.gif

Well if it is 3.1K or below abit ...it might be worth it, if added custom tax it probably around 3.2K ... because we might not know how much AP vendor selling at the moment... could be 3.3 - 3.4K since there is room to play around as local set cause 3.6K for similar spec...

I forgot, what's the rate for customs tax? 10 percent of the cost of the declared good?

8GB/256GB was taxed 35% but 6GB/128GB no tax?

The margin for the 6GB/128GB is still borderline acceptable

If only custom tax is so low, the other days my friend backed kickstarter backpack and got hit by over 30% Duty Tax because it's above MYR 500 (The backpack was shipped from Singapore). But not sure about phone. with Discount Rm3,499 + Wireless Bullets V1.... assuming you paying the 300 for for Wireless Bullets (i'm just trying to comfort myself) RM3,199...

That's stupid! No way a distributor would purchase at retail price. Xianfeng should be entitled to distributor price (lower than retail price)
