For buyer that think it is not worth then just go ahead with OP7PRO head to head competitor, aka S10+. For OP fans, there's 2 way to go. Either wait for AP / China set or go with local MY set that gives peace of mind (freebies and 2 yrs warranty covered).

Actually that’s their whole intention with the OP7 Pro - To go after the premium market with a lower price compared to the likes of Samsung, Huawei and Apple. And if we look at the US pricing, they are cheaper vs the launch price of the other flagships. But for us here in MY, the scenario is different given our weak currency, duties, the distributor’s margins, etc.

But I agree with you, for someone considering between the OP7 Pro and S10+ here in MY right now (I’ve seen it for as low as 3099 now), it’s easier to recommend the S10+ as it is a better all-rounder and has better after sales support here.

I'm think i'm ok with the wireless bullets V1, and i heard not much improve for the 2nd gen. But i might sell it and get the 2nd gen.

Last time I did during the early days of ONEPLUS ONE, the SIRIM is not more than RM100. The best value for value would be the get the mid-range model, 8 + 256GB as it is US699, estimated conversion of RM3000 It is cheaper by RM700 for Malaysian price of RM3699.

Secondly would be the warranty, as I reckon if there is problem with it, u need to sent it back to USA

Overall it is value for money

Add on: It's also depends on your luck whether Kastam want to tax you or not even you have the SIRIM sticker. I'm the unfortunate one during m OPO order whereby I got tax by Kastam for RM200. So Overall, I spend a more for it.

Not to forget that, if pre-order via Shopee, u got discount RM200 right away for the mid-range model aka 3699-200 + the freebies like 200 over too? So basically, not much diff with self import. And yes, like you say.. Value for money or wait a little bit longer.
