“I don’t want to harp on these edges but its’ just not enjoyable to see the glare come in from the top and the bottom of the screen. I can just see all of the light getting picked up at the top of the screen. To me it just it creates this experience that is just not ideal when you are sitting down and watching something…it’s just kind of distracting with how deep these edges are “  Wow nice find. Regarding the Oneplus 7 pro's curved screen issue. Here's a good example why I said earlier that different people different perception.
Start from 3:49. This youtuber couldn't notice the curve on Oneplus 7 pro. And he thinks Oneplus 7 pro's curve is better than S10+. So ya. There's no right or wrong in here. I've never use a curved display before, i don't mind give it a try. I have nothing to lose since i'm coming from a non-curve screen.

Not many tech/YOUTUBE reviewers aware that OP7P is NOT the 1st device equipped with 90Hz OLED screen... They simply crown OP7P to be the 1st...this is inaccurate statement.
Asus ROG Phone is the 1st to introduce AMOLED 90Hz screen while Razer is 120Hz IGZO-IPS... Talking about 90Hz gaming, this is the list as of last year:
