Not all the merchants allow SPayLater.
If SPayLater is not accepted by the merchant, you need to use ShopeePay credit to pay.

Do you have transferable funds at ShopeePay (top up using online banking or debit card, not credit card or cash)?

You might have scanned personal Duitnow QR which won't allow untransferrable ShopeePay credit.

Or ShopeePay team asked you to provide certain documents which you are to yet to reply.

ShopeePay can scan Personal Duitnow QR & "transfer". But must use Transferrable fund, ie not top up using Credit card and Cash.

MGM, not limited to new Spaylater users lah. You can get it as well, every month (but Upsized today)

1.5% surcharge (no FOC) during October 2022 - January 2024, but I could get up to 8% CB from credit cards, still worth it.

Now waived for the time being.

Actually I am not so interested in BNPL.
But Spaylater allow Amex / ShopeePay (non-transferable fund) for the time being until Seamoney Capital (or successor - new digital bank Maribank Malaysia) disallow it.
Also Spaylater give discount at some merchants eg Shopee, KFC, Petron etc.

Why ask here (ShopeePay)?

Only some (not all) merchants you may exercise 50% by coins.

You need to choose "Use up to 50% of payment".
You may use Spaylater at Mr DIY and Ecoshop.
Eg RM25. Spaylater RM13, Shopee Coins -1200.

Even personal Duitnow QR, you can use ShopeePay to scan & "Transfer", but the fund must be transferable, i.e. not top up by cash or CC (currently you may get 3% credit if you top up ShopeePay using Duitnow Transfer/QR, T&C apply)

Make sure you are using a Premium ShopeePay account which max transaction is RM4999. If you want to buy something>RM5000, forget ShopeePay.
