No need to take risk to request for withdrawal, as you can use ShopeePay at DuitNow QR merchants after 30/11/2020.

DuitNow QR doesn't allow fund to be transferred between e-wallet operators under the same umbrella right?

Nor allow funds from e-wallet to be transferred out to bank account under DuitNow QR umbrella also right?

As far as this early initial stage, it looks like QR Payment only.

Yes, I will use ShopeePay or TNG wallet at DuitNow QR merchants, not always I must use a credit/debit card.
I believe it will be as good as SarawakPay.

The problem is that there're still not many DuitNow QR merchants out there.

Hi all, I am new to Shopee pay, just got my wallet upgraded to enjoy the "withdraw to bank" feature.

I have topped up some amount of money in my wallet prior to 11.11 but due to the technical glitch that night, didnt manage to finish using all the money inside. Now i want to transfer the balance to bank but heard will get blocked? Anyone here experienced that? Do they block the credit card of top up or suspend your shopee wallet?

Keep the money in ShopeePay and use it on 12/12 promos or DuitNow QR merchants (from 30/11/20). You can use ShopeePay to pay utilities and buy food at Shopee App as well.
Forget the withdrawal feature, unless you have no intention to use credit card to buy things at Shopee in the future.

Yes, I agree with ClarenceT.
Althernate, you can use the credit to pay your bill to utilize them if you like to maintain zero balance.
Just avoid using that withdrawing function.

Shopee owner's chief Forrest Li named Singapore's Businessman of the Year

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN): When Forrest Li first arrived in Singapore more than 15 years ago, the then 28-year-old was deep in student loan debt to the tune of S$100,000, had next to nothing in the bank and made only enough to rent a room in a flat in Braddell.

Today, Li, 43, is the billionaire founder and group chief executive of tech giant Sea, which owns e-commerce platform Shopee and also operates businesses in gaming and digital finance.

Li was on Tuesday night (Nov 24) named Businessman of the Year 2019/2020, in recognition of his efforts in building Sea into a New York-listed global Internet company with the mission of improving the lives of consumers and small businesses through technology.

Agree!
Now we can save 5% (weekends) on top of the discounted price for mobile reload ! thumbup.gif
For example, umobile RM30 reload only sells at RM28.38, somemore is a preferred seller so can collect coins (equivalent 1% rebate).

RM28.38 * 5% = RM1.42
existing savings from the discounted price, 30.00-28.38=1.62
Total savings = 1.42+1.62 = 3.04
Savings% = 3.04/30 = 10.1 % brows.gif
