Really tempted to pull the trigger on the Legion 5 Pro now that the 20% discount code is back.

Quick questions,
1. Is getting the 3070 over the 3060 version worth it? How much of a performance difference is it?
2. If I get the 3060 and plays on 1080p, Will the image become blurry? Since the screen is 1440p.
3. What do you mean by MUX? @ZMFong

1. Yes, you get 8GB VRAM instead of 6 (might not be enough nowadays). GPU wise the difference is about 20-25%
2. FYI the panel is 2560x1600, so is 1600p. If FHD is 1920x1200, 1200p. The image quality will be downgraded but it's still clear enough, unlike 720p on 1080p
3. Can refer to here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msh5tXdsFhY

This is darn tempting but I checked somewhere the weight is 2.45KG+. I don't think there are any display sets so I am not sure if it is bulky to carry around. hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

Does anyone here have experience with the new Legion series?

I prefer something that is around 1.9 to 2.1kg. I have an old gaming laptop which is 2.65kg and I feel it's heavy to carry around to do work. (I do sort of roaming like work so I hand carry the laptop around upwards like its on table, except its on my palm sometimes for long hours so it can get uncomfortable and tired.)

Very good deal. Is there a way to upgrade the warranty? Comes standard with 2 years.
