thin and light will not have their own section since many models nowadays are heavy but thin, all the 30 series laptops in the list have their weight listed

bcoz Omen 15 2021 GPU is only 100w max, while Legion 5 is 115w

the Omen is still not available but Legion can preorder, might be able to get lower price tho if lenovo site shows up 30 series models

Hi zm fong, I checked that the LEGION starting weight is ~2.4kg while the OMEN is ~2.36kg, not a ton of difference like you mentioned otherwise. Anything Im missing out on? Would prefer the lighter one for sure. Thanks

Omen 15 is close to 2.1kg actually, the trade off is less perf - no MUX, only 100W GPU, no Dynamic Boost, slightly worse temps+louder fans

Do you think they will pair a Ryzen 4th gen with RTX3050?
I feel like Ryzen 5th gen would be too powerful for an entry-level 3050 GPU. If they could pair both that would be s sweet spot I think the price will be around 4k (my budget).

Are there any decent gaming laptop which is light and have an average GPU but a top CPU? eg: i7-11375H with GTX1650Ti?

It won't be used for heavy gaming but more for multimedia contents like 4K videos etc.

I need a fast single threaded CPU.

Max budget around 7.5k.

I was looking forward for Ryzen 5000 desktop series until there are many people complaining about WHEA issues.

So I am not sure if the same problem happens on AMD laptops but I am okay with either AMD or Intel.

What models do you suggest?
