Well, anything might be happen... as i see the other brand. although mention deliver within 7- 14 days but end up waiting about a month.

If want fast. maybe can go for the Lenovo pre order with the Monitor and freebie and collect at the Shop. guess it will be faster way

Many people complaining on long delays and poor customer svc especially during the MCO period. If you really need it before 2 weeks, may be risky to order online. Go physical store better

Very risky and unlikely to receive within 2 weeks.

I used to ordered a ThinkPad T495 from Lenovo online prior to Mid Aug 2019, needed it to arrive before 8 Sept as I will be going to Japan for months. Order page showed ships within 2 weeks which is end of Aug. I've been trying to urge them to escalate the order and at the end received on 6 Sept. Very risky.

If want Lenovo brand, i saw there is 1 model avail from NBP, Y545 (i5 + RTX2060), (i7 + RTX2060), pricing at RM4699 and RM5159 respectively.

Take note that proc is intel 9th gen.

Edit: 1 model only. The Y7000 is GTX1650.

But acording to sifu ZM, the thermal is not as good as it other siblings, Y530, Y540.

Is there anyone here who uses laptop and also external GPU? I saw the razer and the external GPU and i thought that combo rocks. You can use your laptop on normal days and when you need to play games, you can use external GPU and also that means you can easily upgrade the card in future without having the need to change the whole laptop, as usually you can't upgrade GPU card for a laptop. But i've also read one comment here that Razer's support and RMA is really not great at all. Any other manufacturers having such laptop + external GPU combo?

thanks!

Wow! Congrats! I thought the Legion 5 (AMD) is shipped within 4 weeks while the 5i is 2 weeks.

I guess for those ordered Lenovo laptop, just expecting delay to avoid disappointment. Haha.

Mine is Legion 5i ordered on 28/5, said shipping within 2 weeks. But then the ETA to ship is 17/6, ETA arrival 24/4.

That is within 4 weeks ler. Haha. PKPB already ended by that time i guess. laugh.gif

Now my ETA is changed. Expected to ship by 28 June, ETA to arrive is 3rd July. doh.gif laugh.gif

Do you have any preferences on weight and battery life?

Given these 2 options, i would prefer battery life > weight since I'm not carrying the laptop everywhere. haha rclxm9.gif

Since the laptop will not be carried everywhere, I guess you're fine with low battery life also?

May I know your budget?
