Might just be the new fan curve. Important thing is the fan actually follows the temp now to ramp up/down.

Kudos to illegear for working on this the moment users started reporting it. If this happens to a big name manufacturer, it gotta become a huge news in major websites for them to even consider fixing LOL.

Great job. Other users should continue reporting anything unusual to see if it’s something that can be solved through software/firmware. If you just complain about it without giving required info no one, including yourself, will benefit.

Just curious about this update, does it solve the 99% battery on startup or something else entirely?
*
This update is for 10th gen intel ILLEGEAR with RTX2060 80W, not for 9th generation.

I will send your video to FAE to have them check again.

Do note that during the flashing process be sure you are not working on anything. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PLUGGED IN / ON CHARGER source.

Open the F.bat in the Afuwin64 folder to process flashing the Bios
it will restart and enter bios few time

After successfully flashed and entered to Desktop
Open the F.bat in the Afuwin64cap folder to proceed flashing and updating the EC.

Do note that during the flashing process the laptop will reboot few times.
Besure to plug in the charger during the flashing process

Quick question for Raven SE-R owners or people who had experience the same issue as me. Have u guys had random freezes while ingame or while doing something? Once i was editing a video and the screen went blank and i cant do anything. Other occsasions is when im playing games and it freezes while showing a still image. No BSOD came up. No distorted sound coming out of the speakers as usually crashes will produce a glitched noise.

What's the issue? Could it be the SSD or RAM? Or even CPU/ GPU cry.gif mega_shok.gif . I have to hold down the power button and boot up back again. I'm always worried/ expecting crashes every now and then. The recent one just last night while playng red dead 2. Just a few mins playing. Undervolt was -50mV through the bios. Windows formatted the other day.

And these crashes happens even before the bios update came out and im always worried that it might crash when im doing my work.

Any thought?

Uninstalled drivers using DDU and installed nvidia's driver through nvidia's website ver 446.14 . I don't think it's the gpu drivers. My experience with gpu drivers problems is that they will give out a direct x related error. This one however just freezes the whole pc. Forcing me to hard reboot. 😩

Hi Santau, kindly ensure your drivers are installed properly and restore your BIOS / EC setting back to default.

So far we do not have any RAVEN SE-R, prodigy, onyx v users facing freezing problem. Should you wish to send in for checking, you can drop off your laptop at our service center.

Thank you.

A quite off topic question, will you guys open service center in other state as well? It is not convenient when you want to send in for service but you are living in other state...

Kindly try on the newly updated ILLEGEAR Command Center

https://support.illegear.com/Drivers/Laptop...32_ILLEGEAR.zip

This should memorize the mode saving.

Does this update apply to all model/laptop?

I have checked Illegear website but there is no update for my laptop.

My laptop model is Rogue Intel 9th gen gtx 1650. I have only seen Rogue 1660ti update only.

Kindly advise.
