Ya ps5 will have better exclusive but xbox x might have the initial market share cos ppl will buy it since they can continue their current gen game in enhanced graphics, fps. Ps5 if no backward compatibility, ppl will still wan see their exclusive can play or not baru switch over new gen.

It’s pretty much a given that a good number of PS4 games will work with the PS5.

Really tho why can't they just do backward compatibility this time. I feel like there won't be one again as well. So lazy Sony.

So far Xbox got all the good press imo. Tick all the boxes to be successful. Only thing missing for them is exclusives still probably.

Was pretty excited about the announcement, then this happens.

Sony should have stayed NEUTRAL in any political, religious and race matters that happened globally.

Look at the bigger picture please. All news about the PS5 would likely be drowned with all this blacklivesmatter trends and news of tragedies. Why would Sony bury the limelight of a product that would ride their profits for the next decade?

Uh, seriously? There is a massive protest going on in America & today will George Floyd's funeral. How neutral you want them to get?

if i am Sony, i would just proceed with PS5 promotion anyway.

If a business owner would want to pay respect to ALL of the major tragedies, then i don't think he would be able to sustain his business.

Sony's business is not limited to America only, there are Europe & Asia continents too.

Game can wait for me. Shit ton of backlogs, PS5 itself can wait. Personally I'd prefer if they just release it next year rather than this year.

It's easier said than done. Sentiments are low, emotions of the people ensuring that their voices are heard is at its all-time high - and like other forummers mentioned, Sony's announcement will be drowned within. What difference does it make if the announcement is on-time or at a later date? It is not going to affect the launch of the product, it's just an announcement and that can wait.

And just so you know, this doesn't just affect America - it's affecting the whole world. People are making their voices heard, standing up against injustice and discrimination. Then again, what does privileged people like you know about these right? Oblivious and ignorant.

Sony did the right thing, respect the voices of the people. A brand is nothing without the people, always remember that.

Thats y if they intro backward compatibility Like what microsoft, u can just play all ur ps4 game in ps5. Now they lose 1 customer At launch becos they will wait clear backlog. And they gonna lose more.

anyway, PS5 SSD undoubtedly is fast, fastest in its class is correct,
but fastest in the world is not, I wonder who actually quoted that?

PC have to manage so many stuffs at a time, especially on MS Windows PC, and please don't start on the mac vs windows again, that's another war altogether

unlike PC, consoles parts are fixed, there aren't as many components and drivers to managed, like in the video, they can just build a special customized chip just to make the SSD as efficient as possible by utilizing their console game engine/api or whatsoever, PC have to be "generic" to be able to run all of the applications/games

I'm a gamer, gamer doesn't discriminate console or PC, I played them all

If it does it would be a bonus and happy ending well if they are not I will still buy it. Keeping finger crossed atm.

Not all have backwards compatibilty, summore after july punya game only they mandates developer their game must be ready for ps5. How about before july? Cos like tat sony can milk u again, come out definitive edition last of us part 2 1 yr later cos tis game release june2020. Conlanfirm oledi la.
