Now I wondering how sony malaysia handling the process. If they don't limit the amount, everyone can just pre-order, but based on batch by batch. Who pre-order earlier get the console earlier. If like that, then I think it's acceptable. We can take our own sweet time to order instead of rushing. As long as I can secure one unit for myself, I can wait.

Due to cmco, I thought customer are not allow to stay inside shopping complex?

I think they wanna create a "Sony Cluster"

While they were waiting for instruction from PS Asia, they could have do the necessary to ensure their infra is able to handle heavy traffic for pre-order purpose.

To be honest, I always prefer walk in pre-order. But 2 things are worth to worry about.

1. Long queue
2. Out of stock before your turn. Time wasted.

All SEA countries except Singapore made the announcement today on the launch date of 11/12. Can't wait!

3. buta buta get RM1k summon while queuing up to pre-order due to failed social distancing.

I was able to pre order before via phone call for the PRO at Sony KLCC. I suggest you do the same. They were able to replenish their stocks quite easily.

Need to physically go to shop. No online pre-order.
Like that maybe wait till end of next year.

No worry. If got saman, sure not me kena. I am sure a lot of people would have queued there much earlier than me. So if anything bad happen, I (for being late) can avoid. Lol.

Pay extra Rm500 more. One forummer managed to call a reseller and they asked for Rm500 on top of the official RRP. Reseller turned scalper.

They wrote like that because certain participating seller may have their own online pre-order. Doesn't look like Sony will have online-preorder so far since their webpage still not showing any pre-order page.

Seriously, for number 3, I think it's all depend on how they gonna conduct the event. I think I may pay a visit and see how it goes. The travel distance from my house to klcc is only 20 min. So no hassle. If success, then enjoice. If fail, then wait for next round lo. Gotta have lower expectation on this. Lol.
