Expect an announcement anytime this October. It doesn't make sense that no local pricing announcement is made when the global release is on November. My PS4 Pro is still holding up but really curious on the 1440p implementation on games and how it stacks up with the PRO.

My takeaways after watching the video are;

- They minimized moving parts and went digital. the only moving part in there might be the fans and and the eject function on the blu ray drive.
- M.2 expansion is the future of storage expansion
- It looks easy to clean
- Liquid metal cools the CPU and GPU wow

Unboxing embargo.

Yup! For sure. Press units should have videos of unboxing tonite.

I knew people who ordered peripherals from Amazon are already being shipped out.

To be honest, I always prefer walk in pre-order. But 2 things are worth to worry about.

1. Long queue
2. Out of stock before your turn. Time wasted.

I was able to pre order before via phone call for the PRO at Sony KLCC. I suggest you do the same. They were able to replenish their stocks quite easily.
