Apparently 1440p isn't going to be supported as on output which sucks. 1440p 144Hz monitors would have been a nice sweet spot ....now idk.

MSFT also with their Series S, apparently cant even do 1080p 60fps on Yakuza. If I didn't already have like 3/4 years of PS+ left, I probably would have considered Series X, now I just need to keep quiet and wait for PS5 to be released here.

Rushed development As far as how things goes, Xbox seems more ready than PS5 launch wise.

So what will happen to 1440p users? they will need a new monitor? or it will be auto-adjusted to 1080p res?

i think sony mabye will patch ps5 firmware to support 1440p when alot of people files complain to sony. the day 1 patch for ps5

Upscale from 1080p signal or downscale from 4K. Neither is ideal imo and not all 1440p monitors can support 4K signals, so this news pretty much sucks.

Unfortunately I just don't see Sony patching this in. They make some boneheaded decisions when it comes to software lol.

Sounds like Sony really dropped the ball in PS5 launch compared to other camp, you can see a lot of online comments the existing PS4 fans are pretty pissed at Sony, and are jumping camp to other side.

the more people jump ship/ cancel order . the faster i can get my ps5 . idc about the space of storage or other problem. the only things is i can get ps5 and play my games. also internet now so fast that you download 20-30 gb game in 30minute ,just delete the game you finish and dont play anymore.why need another storage to put games.

1. not all has fast internet
2. most prefer to have at least a few games to switch around to play, what's the point of having instant resume/switch game features if the storage is limited?
3. next gen games are huge, put 2 COD games in it and it already took up more than half of the storage

true but ps5 can have 6-20 game if you mix max it properly. just delete/use hdd to store the game that you are not going to play for a long time. resume/switch game features its a plus for digital user,but for user that never buy digital game and always use disc-the function is kinda useless . i'm not a fps player so COD is exception for me.

And no 1440p support. Most gamers already have 2k monitor and they dont want to support it. I feel this is not exactly next gen. Xbox series X way better but no local official store

just because people cancel order doesn't mean you can get ps5 faster. SIE is prioritizing all available ps5 stocks to US & EU.

when SIE was based in japan, they gave priority to SEA markets. now they are based in US & those western mafakas are looking down on SEA markets like we are second class citizens.

when they can't sell anymore in the west or they have surplus stocks, then they will release ps5 in SEA region.

that's probably why there is no news from SIE Asia about ps5 local launch until now.

i just hope sony malaysia have some news soon and hope can get on december in malaysia if possible.

I am legit super tempted to just try to get it from Walmart, unless those bots come and take all of them.
