what is the best cheap mobile plan for this huawei modem? being looking around only saw digi infinite rm150. too expensive. prefer below rm80 if possible. does not have to be unlimited data but must be enough for daily usage. (20-30gb maybe?)

Nothing beats Digi's i150 thumbup.gif

Or you could try Digi's 1 ringgit unlimited data per day, capped at 3 mbps if not mistaken, it's a prepaid plan.

Next in line would be unifi Air at 79 ringgit per month, hit or miss since only some areas have B38 / B40, or you will just connect to their B5 which is always congested.

There are other plans from YES or Umobile that might need some *ahem* if you're planning to use around 30GB per month.

I received it and opened... inside was glued one ST-FPC80 4G PCB antenna module with 3DBi ... and both cables solder to one antenna!!! IT IS real China miracle, if you solder two cables to one PCB 3dbi antenna and You will get out 28DBi!!!!

QUOTE
It's not an antenna, it's shit. Except for the wires there is nothing valuable in it. Instead of the antenna use just waste electronics boards. Two wires, it's cheating. You can solder one and use it in a homemade antenna.

paying so cheap than complain why signal getting worse than built-in antenna devil.gif

Thing to look for good quality external antenna is :-
branding
google brand name antenna model
good brand have website with many antenna type and size. No idea which antenna to buy just email sales for help.
low gain.
short cable.
not cheap cool2.gif

Spotted a rare untrained B618 in the wild.

Its consistent display of raw power won on a new convert in me.

Though I'm still sour, hesitant, and regretting the spur-of-moment catching it by spending almost RM1k.

Buyer's remorse or techie's ecstasy. Still hopping between the 2 sides.

If new ones that are not locked is approaching RM1k, then MikroTik SXT LTE6 kit is a far better option. Better directional MIMO antenna, 4G+ support, bridge mode, tower locking. Only VoLTE isn't available.

RM650 is so far better than Rm1000+ for a brand new unlocked B618 now.
