if u know the market price B618 22d brand new modded +unlocked is around RM599-650

that why we called that guy who spent "RM1k" got ripped off lol.
The router u posted, no info of the speed/signal 4*4MIMO/brand/warranty/reliable compare to Huawei B618 that is proven by most people it's top of fastest router with all the speed test. and ur router still dare to ask for RM679  puke.gif  puke.gif  puke.gif

Where on Malaysia you can get a brand new B618-22d unlocked at below RM650? A quick look at Lazada and Shopee shows that you have to pay RM7xx to get a modded one with v81 firmware that has no warranty. To get a brand new one unmolested is even more impossible at that price.

Well, maybe he bought it before Celcom and TM brought in, that time pricing was 1k. smile.gif
I got slightly cheaper too from Europe.

RM650 is so far better than Rm1000+ for a brand new unlocked B618 now.

It's a B618-65d.

The RM1k tag was indeed hard to swallow, and I am sour for that price PLUS force-bundled with dodgy-looking external antenna (claimed to be around "RM200 alone", improved the download about +10Mb/s), which I no longer have need attach after testing.

I placed the B618 in-place of previous B315 from Maxis.
I am now getting consistent 120Mb/s download, and getting back previously familiar 30+Mb/s upload.

The modem is placed at ½ meter below ceiling, above everything else at the exact middle of my concrete-walled apartment. I have no need to expose it to indirect heat through since I am now satisfied with speed AND now-VoLTE-enabled "landline". Though I expect the speed will improve based on tested such relocation with B315 before.

The consolation is, i am now future-proofed for expected landed house; location which I had previously tested DiGi at, and confirmed no TM HSBB will ever want to even visit.

My connection was good since 2018. But the last 2 weeks, the connection always offline. More than 4 times a day. I tried restart the modem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. How to solve this? Need to contact Celcom?

Hi, currently using Digi infinite 150 with my B618. Planning to use VPN to access Netflix/Disney+ etc. Anyone can advise how to do so (noob here) and if streaming video performance is ok? Is it easy to turn the VPN connection on and off?

If there is an existing thread on this I do apologize for asking this here!

it's more of network thing, not much needed to be done in the router setting

Hi, thanks but ur suggestions. I specifically am looking to access US based Netflix content hence why I need the VPN for Netflix. What I need help with is the VPN router settings. I have tried using express VPN with their suggested settings for HUAWEI routers but performance seems to be horrible with Disney+, Hulu and Netflix (I already have accounts for these). All have crap unreliable connectivity and performance (via manual config of the b618 VPN settings). Initially thought it was a server location issues so Spoke to ExpressVPN and even used their suggested server locations but still no luck.

Does anyone have the same experience using Digi infinite 150 and have any recommendations on how to improve? Directly using expressVPN App on my iPhone (Also on digi) works fine for watching US based content so I’m sure it’s the b618 settings/limitation. Would love to get my smart tv to work directly to the router to watch things on a bigger screen.

Any help is appreciated. Tried googling but can’t seem to find any answers about my specific query.
