Guys, Have you all pair B618 with any mesh wifi to extend it coverage? My house got dead spot for the signal to reach out. I plan to solve it by any alternative

Mesh better, due to designed to work as a system & (normally) dedicated backhaul. Extender is kind of hit-or-miss, depending on where you want to eliminate the deadspot. Performance also lower than Mesh Wifi.

But if your 4G speed not that high eg below 40mbps, then you can try Wifi Extender.

I am currently using a CAT4 router with digi i150
Kampung area so speed was not great, average 15-20 Mbps, no LTE+

I am wondering will upgrading to B618 bump up my speed? is it worth upgrading?

does 22d support volte?

If your area congested. Speed will based on how congest your area.

very subjective.

1. if using 4G modem indoor rsrp is good ald, then upgrade b618 might not have different. check your hmanager reading.

2. b618-65d pair with 150i is good. indoor signal good vs all the modem in market with 2x2mimo only... b618 is double, 4x4mimo. so in term of stability n speed it should be better than 4G modem.

I guess no definite answer here. I have bought in B618 lately after reading about its performance. But when I do speed test comparing my existing MiFi and B618, I can more or less say that B618 does not outperform my existing MiFi all the times, and there are occasions where the existing MiFi has performed significantly better than B618. The one thing that almost consistent is the upload speed of B618 is most of the times better than my existing MiFi. That's all I can say. So if you really want to upgrade, can consider borrowing B618 from any friend (if available) to test out before making the decision. Just my two cents.

Don't waste your money, and don't think of reselling the B618 in case of not worth cause it's NOT easy to resell.

if your area doesn't have LTE+, then using b618 won't improve any speed much..

22d afaik doesn't have volte for digi, need modded..but latest firmware seems locked all but celcom for 22d.
