True, but this 70mai 4G Hardwire kit doesn't seems to have the flexibility to opt for other low voltage cutoff.
They have 3 versions of hardwire kit now, the other 2 can adjust the low voltage cut off. As far as i know, the main difference only on the type of USB for the connection to main dashcam unit; micro USB & USB C connectors.

Anyway, i've been using for few days, tomorrow i will check my car battery status to see the discharge rate toll on my battery unit.
I've fully charged it on Monday night with Bosch C7, prior to the installation on Tuesday morning.

Drove lightly these few days mainly to travel to work-home, duration of 30-45 mins slow drive for 2 times per day.

Updates:
Check battery states this morning (Saturday). Still got 90% SOC.

On the other hand, I would like to seek for your expert recommendation if there's any external battery pack we can use for 70mai? I've been searching high and low for quite some time, but doesn't seem to get any trail on this.

I found your review in jwtech web, there is this battery pack "ElectroForce Force Zero DF-10", im not sure if it would be compatible and also if Sicurez still carry this product.

Can turn On or OFF in settings.

Carpark mode got few features, most power hungry one is timelapse where it took 1shot per second, continuously. Not suitable for long hours parking as it constantly drain battery.

Another option is AI mode, where it only record for 30seconds upon detected potential threat.

Hi, I installed Thinkware X700 in October 2019 at Sicurez. I think it's dying (or already died). Sometimes it can turn on (green light on), sometimes it tries to turn on (red light on) but stays that way, sometimes it just restarts while driving, etc.

1. Is this 4 years of life acceptable for a dashcam?
2. If yes to question 1, any suggested model for replacement? Must have front & rear camera, parking mode (motion sensor and force), GPS, ADAS, speed trap camera warning, can hardwire to the car battery.

Was thinking of getting another Thinkware, but open to other brands since I haven't kept up with the latest models. Budget below RM2k.

Dear all, for 2-channel cams, does each of the recordings of front and rear cams start and end at the same time for the files stored in sd card?

Let's say for this particular video clip, the start time of front camera is 2:45:00 pm, will the clip from the rear cam also starts at the same time?

Asking because I am currently running separate cams for front and back, so getting synchronised files is an added step. Thinking of upgrading to 2-ch for ease of video retrieval.

Can anyone recommend a dashcam mount that allows rotation as what was done in the above video thread?

Googling online, I found many suction type designs on Lazada/Shopee etc but from experience these suction type mounts can’t last long in Malaysian weather
