Same thought bro haha...currently my wife using honor 50 since oct 2021, and what i can say it still does have the huawei feel even not carry huawei anymore on honor

Saw many pple complaint in Honor 吹水站 fb about Honor phones include Honor magic4pro. Easy heat up n lagging. Many regret jumped to Honor from Huawei.

My Mate 20x still working good after changed battery at RM99 about a month ago. Hope can serve another 2 years.

My mate 20 running fine also after nearly 3 years, much better than mate 9 pro that lag and buggy button after a year. Too bad screen cracked again for second time. Not sure how long more can last because dark spots start appearing on screen, maybe the cracks damage the lcd or water went in. Waiting forever for huawei comeback.

is this under special case bro? how to get this offer for upgrade storage and ram..haha

This is an exceptional case lah,

SC do not have the 128GB ROM Mainboard in-stock but they offer me 256GB ROM Mainboard same price as 128GB one due to I need phone urgently,
so, indirectly I get the free upgrade lor

memang rare case but still thumb-up for SC excellent resolution plan offered

feel like want to try my luck to ask if can upgrade or not hahaha

Thanks for the headsup. Its such a pity honor is down trending now. I moved from nokia to honor 7, it was a superb phone then, and even todate the video camera us so smooth and unbeatable. I hv compated with Samsung s22, iphone 13 and our mate20p, still the video is not even close. Mainly im referring to while videoing, i can zoom in n out without any lag or jitters. I still use H7 for jogging, youtube during exercise. But the memory is low, cant use on current memory hunger apps.


I have tried Amcorp SC, and called afew, like Damansara SC, 2 SC in kl, and they said not offering any upgrade from 128 to 256gb MB sigh!.
This was 2-3 weeks ago.

After Honor sold/separated from Huawei, quality no longer as good as Huawei. I not dare jumped to Honor.

Mate 20 X battery replacement now RM99???

Huawei will time to time 'service day' or something similar.
listed phone will be RM99 change battery (mostly is 2yr or above phone)

Yes now having RM99 Battery Replacement offer to Mate 20x which includes part & labour. Quite a number owner claimed before that If you go it on HUAWEI Service Day which is every very first Friday & Saturday of the month would be cheaper than RM99 since only required to pay the part price.

Mate 20 pro still running smooth in 2022?

So far so good! Especially after changing the battery.

But soon I need to look for a new phone, due to my office requirement to access company stuff, I need the latest security patch.

In a dilemma which one to go for

Not much choice for good phone: Samsung or iPhone....

My mate 20 still run smoothly, unlike mate 9 pro before which lag after a year. Maybe after they got ban by Android they don't purposely slow down your phone each update to keep u buying new phone.

Huawei used to be best bang for buck, bought mate 20 last time only 1212...similar quality Samsung now maybe a52s 1600+..

My Mate 20x still run smooth. Changed battery and probably can use another few years. Yes too bad ban by US. That's why Huawei offer to repair existing phones with lowest cost possible to let you use back their service till the phone totally dead.

My Mate 20's proximity and ambient light sensor are dead, volume button is stuck tight...
I swapped the battery once, otherwise its all good

But I'm not sure about spending another RM200 on repairing it tho, time for a new phone?
