My mate 20 screen break for second time even with tpu and screen protector, sigh. Last time wasted rm600+ to change screen, not gonna change again this time. I guess gorilla glass a lot of different? Dropped mate 9 pro a lot before but screen still perfect.

Anyone can recommend a new phone? Looking at mi 11 lite 5g ne and samsung a52s but quality seems doesn't on par with huawei. Prefer something with gorilla glass, lcd/led, below 180g, snapdragon, light gaming..

My mate 20 running fine also after nearly 3 years, much better than mate 9 pro that lag and buggy button after a year. Too bad screen cracked again for second time. Not sure how long more can last because dark spots start appearing on screen, maybe the cracks damage the lcd or water went in. Waiting forever for huawei comeback.

Mate 20 pro still running smooth in 2022?

My mate 20 still run smoothly, unlike mate 9 pro before which lag after a year. Maybe after they got ban by Android they don't purposely slow down your phone each update to keep u buying new phone.

Not much choice for good phone: Samsung or iPhone....

Huawei used to be best bang for buck, bought mate 20 last time only 1212...similar quality Samsung now maybe a52s 1600+..

Whats the choice we have now with IR blaster and Good camera requirement?

So far, looks like Xiaomi 12 pro and Vivo X80 pro are the options? Appreciate any feedback on those?
Any other options? TKasih!

For me if no more huawei then only left Samsung and iPhone will be reliable as main/work phone...xiaomi spec always look good on paper but poor software/UI, other china brands are not really worth the money too after comparing with Samsung..
