If you're always on the move and uncertain of which places you are going to, like me, it's better to stick with Celcom, unifi mobile tends to have the worst coverage.

heard pipul said unifi ride on celcom network

so in theory where got celcom then unifi also got line

is it true?

Yes. But unifi also uses certain LTE bands.

i though unifi better than unmobile?

So far no problems with the places I'm going to.
Either at home or at work, both places are have decent coverage (full bars).
But when I travel to work or back ,which is around 50+ KM, intermittently there would be some not-spots.

not too sure about that but there was this once when I went to a rural place, Celcom had signal but not unifi, so I guess the bands are slightly different?

Please do, there really no point in getting a cheaper package if there's no coverage right?

Tried just now. Using Cellular-Z app on my phone, I was unable to see which band my unifi sim is connected to.

How do I see which band? Any app I have to use?

Thanks for the tip. I tried just now, but for some odd reason, the band isn't showing. There's just '--' where the band info should be. Not sure if it's my phone or something else. My unifi sim is currently in the 2nd sim slot. But it wasn't showing any band info for the sim in slot 1 as well....strange.

Does your mifi support LTE band 5?
Unifi mobile uses LTE band 5, 38, & 40 only.
LTE band 5 in many places, whereas LTE band 38, & 40 are only found in some places.
