QUOTE(saitong09 @ Apr 15 2019, 08:21 PM) QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 16 2019, 12:55 AM) Just go to new telco to apply for port out? I have ported to Digi and Celcom before, no issue and straight ported out within a day. I mean I wanna port out from D to Unifi Mobile. Do they have agent or the port out process is done through apps only? |

Currently I am using Bebas Weekly Unlimited data for RM20 per week, RM80 per month then.
If there any other telco offers cheaper than RM80 for unlimited data? Any modem is suitable for Unifi Mobile so I can put it to router to have WIFI connection? |

QUOTE(khk1987 @ May 17 2019, 10:34 AM) If I'm right. Initially I looked at Yes4g and thought RM48 can get unlimited per month but can't hotspot... so damnon monthly basis: unifi mobile - rm80 for 8mbps yes4g - rm30/49/69/99 for 4/5/6/(no cap) mbps respectively - cannot hotspot umobile prepaid - rm30(25 offer)/50(40 offer) for 3/5mbps respectively - cannot hotspot digi prepaid - rm30 for 3mbps (have to renew daily) - hotspotable? QUOTE(jsnhoh @ May 17 2019, 10:35 AM) Yes,, i want the cheapest one with unlimited nia.. haha |

QUOTE(kiritoffx @ May 20 2019, 09:42 AM) As for me Yes keep on dc. Really hard to download esp big file. Even auto reconnect failed Which modem or router modem has all bands to use Unifi mobile?Try yes in your area first. Congestion should factors beside coverage For me unifi band 5 much stable even capped at 7mps. It replace my shtmyx which on 4mbs available for my area. 80 vs 46 RM |

QUOTE(Hummingbird @ May 21 2019, 01:05 PM) Emm... Basically the band 5 is quite good for having consistent coverage for both indoor and rural areas, and band 40 (or sometimes the band 38) provides better throughput and reponse... wanna buy ZTE MF90 wifi modem but the specs are these:But does it matter since TM is restricting the attainable speed of each connection to only 7-10mbps? 4G BAND: Band 1/3/7/8/20/38/40 (FDD 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz TDD 2300/2600MHz) 3G BAND: HSPA+ UMTS 900 / 2100 MHz 2G BAND: GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800 MHz ________________________________________________ |

QUOTE(ckimsem @ May 21 2019, 07:29 PM) Are you sure daily capped at 3mbps? What's your upload speed? I dont know what band is connected. How to check?I could get 7mbps DL and UL with the RM0 daily which was offered last week. My area has only band 5. Currently using YES and it seems the speed is better than Unifi Mobile in my area. |

QUOTE(ckimsem @ May 21 2019, 10:57 PM) I use BEBAS in modem for hotspot, and it shows which band I'm connected to. initially i thought suitable but at the end, not suitable... many programs show no internet.... On phone, you could try 'network cell info lite' though not all phone work. YES may be good, but it's not hotspot-able. Well, just use what is suitable for ourself, right? |
