1) If we have 4G signal when locking to band 3/7, that's meaning we're on Celcom network, right?

2) If YES, does the unlimited data still works? Or it uses our expensive data?

3)Anyone experienced it yet and care to share?

I tried locking to band 3/band 7 with huawei b618-65d, it has no signal - showing not connected on modem page.

Two months back, I used Celcom SIM phone can get band 3 either 15mhz/20mhz in the same location. Maybe, unifi mobile won't hog on Celcom network at area with their own network available.

It's OTP, but I wish someone could confirm. Today, I received a call from 03-22003100 from Celcom to offer their "Home Wireless Broadband" with 60GB for RM70 (normal with 25GB), or 1150GB for RM106 (NP for RM150 and probably 1tb is for video walla).
Anyone gets this call?

Use the number of your unifi mobile SIM, you'll be sent a password iirc.

I also bought one day RM5 to fill in the missing day.
Just assumed that RM5 for "8-days unlimited" add-on.
And, hope everyone could get the free pass on auto.

It's not the first unifi mobile delaying their freebies.
When live chat with them, they said will be given today (stage by stage) confused.

Tomorrow is labour day, if it's not given today, I wonder if we could live chat tomorrow.
Delay again and again, I bought another day RM5 with my sister SIM.

Live chat with them at 1am, then they made a report and said will be process for 48hours.
Luckily, I received it before 48 hours.


You'll get your free pass too but may need to live chat.

3mbps is enough for YouTube streaming without buffering at 480p, and DiGi would run at the max res. 480p only on auto for some plans.

2) Let's say, u buy one day validity + RM1/day unlimited = Total RM2/day needed, right?

The prosperity promo in my history disappeared, most likely unifi mobile is preparing for the RM55/month promo.
I believe there should be one coming up since we got it for Deepavali, Christmas, and CNY, only left Hari Raya.

too bad, I'm now on BEBAS weekly unlimited, so can't get this free pass.

Since when there was an announcement for today is "telco day".
And, is the Celcom 1-hour-ultra-pass also free?

I really don't know when will it end, but probably should be 1 day (today) only. And, you had better get it as early as you could, I believe tonight this unifi mobile app will be congested like the previous weekly offer.

The daily unlimited still sells at RM3, and it lasts until 30 June 2019.

All unlimited add-ons are speed capped.
Hari Raya falls on 5th June, there's a possibility of RM55 coming up anytime around it. So, if this promo plan is offered for only ONE day. Then, chance of missing the promo is high if we are still on weekly plan.

I noticed some bug, after the RM0 daily unlimited plan ended at 5.30pm, the internet connection was still available until I restarted the phone at 8.00pm. What's more is the speed is not capped at that time. Maybe, someone could confirm this bug.

No, I never bought high priced data since day one, and all my free 4G data has used up. There is nothing shown on my data tab, unless there's some hidden data.

Too bad, it would not work anymore once the connection was disconnected/turned off. Maybe, the normal RM3 unlimited daily would work, please share if you gonna test it.

Are you sure daily capped at 3mbps? What's your upload speed?
I could get 7mbps DL and UL with the RM0 daily which was offered last week. My area has only band 5.

I use BEBAS in modem for hotspot, and it shows which band I'm connected to.
On phone, you could try 'network cell info lite' though not all phone work.
YES may be good, but it's not hotspot-able. Well, just use what is suitable for ourself, right?

1 number per IC, if you don't have any unifi mobile (prepaid) now, you could get one free at TM.

The ZTE mifi you mentioned doesn't have support for 'band 5'. You better get one with 'band 5' support.
