Investment and liquidity is one part. best part is money that we put in, will able to use for other transactions. Hope they release the card + wallet since they signed MOU with visa. It will be great usage by then.
*
Actually I'm more interested with the ewallet portion and the ewallet can be funded with credit cards/other ewallets and ewallet allows to use to buy the funds.

Also, hope Affin can open more fixed income funds apart from MMF to Versa like Opus Touch.

Where got scary, I hope they plunge 20% or more so we can accumulate even more.

Maybe hedge funds are exiting their long positions to cover their short positions under short squeeze attacks.

I'm waiting for another black swan event too.

Sorry what is black swan? What do u mean?
*
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- A black swan is an extremely rare event with severe consequences. It cannot be predicted beforehand, though after the fact, many falsely claim it should have been predictable.
- Black swan events can cause catastrophic damage to an economy by negatively impacting markets and investments, but even the use of robust modeling cannot prevent a black swan event.
- Reliance on standard forecasting tools can both fail to predict and potentially increase vulnerability to black swans by propagating risk and offering false security.

Hi guys. My current High Risk portfolio (36%) is US denominated. However, I have recently helped my Dad set up his portfolio as well (36%), however his asset allocation is quite different from mine and is also denominated in GBP.

Can anyone help explain why is that so?

Because you must have ticked or agreed on "Domestic Ringgit Borrowing".

Was wondering what are the FX rates for SA. I withdraw 5k on Sun and after conversion to MYR, lost about 2.5% just due to FX. This would significantly impact the returns if the FX rate to deposit and withdraw is 2.5% + 2.5% = 5%.

That would mean for every RM100 you invest, RM5 will just be lost for currency exchange.
*
You may use Citibank Malaysia indicative rate as a reference.

Conversion either way should be charged 0.1% as conversion by Citibank Malaysia.

Here got several posts highlighting the weekly DCA has a lot of advantages.
