Wait and hold, top up if you can laugh.gif Investment you need to ride the bull and hug the bear, hahahaha

but if dips like these make you doubt and anxious, maybe 36% is too high of an SRI for you, if you change 22% would be a good balanced SRI with exposure to both bonds and equities, less scary lows.
*
yeah. Agree with you.

Just DCA and don't look at it.

SAMY replied me that it is all inclusive into their annual management fees.

My Question:
Hi, quick question. I would like to know whether the annual management fees is nett and all inclusive? Including the thematic portfolios.

Say, invested 50k at 0.8% per annum, ETFs fees are included in the 0.8?

SAMY reply: Yes, it is included.
*
hi bro, how do SAMY reply you ?

through email or whatapps ?

i email them 2 weeks ago, no reply from them bye.gif

bro, bcoz question ask whether DCA really effective or not  hmm.gif , so i answer not effective la, the best is buy low sell high ma..... cool2.gif

if u wanna relax, this means u dun wanna timing market, so, DCA is the effective way for u liao........
market up or down doesnt matter to u , u just set ur DCA timing and in aje  thumbsup.gif

bcoz i oso dun know which point is the lowest or which point is the highest, so , i oso practice DCA all the time.....
if i know that point , sure i lumpsum in n out  cool2.gif ....kasi untung kaw2 ma.... whistling.gif
*
yeah, your point is valid too.

i prefer buy low and sell high on other playform such as tiger or etoro or rakuten. direct stock market.

statsaway i see it as a robot-ETF. which plan to park here long time. rclxms.gif

what the risk index?
*
36% invested 2yr ago

QUOTE(DragonReine @ Oct 25 2021, 11:17 AM)
Better than 90% of "high risk high return" equity unit trusts out there, and impressive given how "diverse" and "risk adverse" SA's approach to portfolio has been.
*
yeah, agree. but the 40++% is the Time weighted average.
i use my
total amount - my investment amount) divide by 2yr, it is only 12.5% per year.

QUOTE(yklooi @ Oct 25 2021, 11:18 AM)
👍👍For you.... At same 36%sri, My 6 month is less than 1% last checked 3 days ago.
But for some others, your 12% is nothing compared to their sp500 heavy portfolio... As can be seen from posting few months ago that cursed sa., ha ha
*
you referrung to TWA too bro ?

With the perversion of the term DCA I propose we all use the term 360noscope whenever we make an occasional deposit to prevent confusion 🤣
*
every 2 weeks, i set to DCA a small portion of my income into SA.
Every day, i pay attention to global economics news and hang around yahoo finance to read news too.
when the timing is right, i will lump sump a bigger portion amount of funds into SA when the ETF is in reds.
such as during afew weeks ago, evergrande crisis. biggrin.gif

The reason why i choose SA over Wahed or others platform is probably the community & support surrounding it.
